i'll buy this. since the photon IS the smallest increment of matter that has any relation to the em field . . . 😖hifty: it's utterly understandable that he could affect even photons. after all, he CONTROLS the em force, and as i showed, PHOTONS are the messengers of the em force. so he could naturally control the messengers and TELL them what messages to carry. simple and understandable.
however . . . dc's other point is the important one:

what gets through his forcefield and what does[n't]>> (slight grammar fix)now when he came into the battle, he had already implicitly CHOSEN to allow visible light into his shield. how do we know? he never said he was invisible (stopping visible light) and never stated he couldn't see or was using the em field to sense things rather than his normal vision. both would have been GREAT ideas. howvere, these things were never mentioned or activated in battle so he sees the flash -- that easy. and by the time he sees it, it is too late because he could not adjust his shield AFTER he saw it. that's a paradox and an obvious impossiblity.

Um, guys, again, not to be a d*ck, and I think this is really creative, but I don't think carrying on the debate here in the info thread just so you don't use up your 9 posts is exactly in the spirit of the rules either. It wasn't actually spelled out, so I'm not going to ding anyone for it or hold it against anyone, but I'm only going to take into account information provided in the battle threads when I make my decision.
For example:
I wouldn't read a respect thread for a character in the tournament and take the accounts and depictions displayed in that thread into account in the battle thread. I'd only take the scans/arguments presented by the combatant in the actual battle thread into account.
This thread is not the battlefield, so what happens here has no bearing on the fight.
If you want to cut and paste the conversation here into a post within your battle (not a link, the actual posts made only by actual combatants), I'll accept that. Other than that, this info is inadmissable and will not have any bearing on my decision in the actual battle thread.

It just occured to me that three of the four current judges are people who turned me down when asked if they'd team up with me. That's a helluva coincidence.
EDIT: Yeah, well, according to BW and newjak, these Daxamites are supposedly >>>>Superman in power. So maybe the speed limits and their breaking of them should be discussed some more.
