Ive read the rules. I was there when the speed limit was banned. It wasnt speed but the reaction time to those speeds that was banned 😬
Basically Surfer can go in a straight line at lightspeed and hit you, but he cant barrage you with punches at that speed.

The idea behind was banning Flash reaction times not making everyone with normal human reaction. Basically Digi wanted to limit the Flash speed so the arguement that they can do a million things before your oppenet's brain even thinks would be gone. So everyone with Fash like reactions were banned.
Thats why Surfer was let back in.

No flying over to your opponents faster than they can think and beating the crap outta them. However, you can use your speed to use attacks faster than the other person. 😉

Reaction feats that are Flash-esque have been banned, but reaction feats are otherwise extremely useable. And the speedblitz technique is possible from nearly every team, but I eliminated to remove a possible cheap (and stupid) battle tactic. It involves merely travel speed (flight and such) and doesn't include H2H or energy/magic attack reaction time.
That's part of the reason I allowed shields at the beginnign fo fights. If teams have shields going into a fight, a pico-second attack becomes rather null.

You're crazy if you think Supes flight speed isn't up there with Flash's. And he can absolutely fight at those speeds, just like Flash. You guys are the ones claiming that Daxamites are above Superman in power, and that they'll be running around speedblitzing.

We can't standardize everyone's reaction time nj. If someone has quicker reactions than another person, then yes, that's one advantage they'll have.
We simply took out extreme (i.e. Flash) feats so that someone couldn't argue that their character couldn't be hit at all.

Am I right in my assesment though Dig? If you can travel fast enough you can basically bum rush them, but you can hit them like 100 times in a minute? Speed is limited to regular speed in reactions, but no offensively so, and can be used to travel?
Am I correct?
