Mind Control is banned. It stated so explicitly in the rules.

Controlling a sentient machine is essentially mind control as mind control is subverting the will of a sentient being to your own ends, be it organic or inorganic/artificial (i.e Nimrod, Warlock of the Technarchy, The Fury, Vision, etc).

Kyle feats are allowed only. Just as Hal feats are allowed only for Hal. All GLs have the same potential because they have the same power, but each character is an individual and uses there abilities in there own way.

Saying every GL does the same thing is like saying every mixed martial artist is Batman.

You might want to make this point in the actual battle thread though. This thread has no bearing on the battle.

This is one I am gonna stand up for sorry. I let the Daxamites slide because it was under said rules. However all GLs have the same powers and John is < Kyle ANYWAYS

So sorry, but if for some reason I need to use another Gls feats then I will.

So your saying Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Kilowog, Ch'P and Guy Gardner can perform Kyle's feats even though they've never been depicted to do so and are unique individuals with completely different thought process, styles, senses of imagination and nuances than Kyle?

I don't think Digi fully thought through the ramifications of the question.

No way. By that logic, I could've used Thor feats for BRB, since he's a tactical genius, and has a hammer with all the same powers as Mjolnir. But no WAY would that have been allowed.

😐 please read again. So long as they would think of it (and willpower is relativly equal) then yes it would be allowable 😬

I have someone who can tell me about telepathy. Blocking it would be understandable 😬

--Would attempting to rewrite Spartan's mind and telling him to destroy himself fall under mind control, and thus be banned?

--Is it actually allowable for someone with a GL character to use scans of feats performed by other GLs to prove their character can do something?

I'm going bring one up as well I don't think it should be legal for someone to teleport something into an oppenent. Since a number of people can do it it becomes an issue of SpeedBlitzing to the win. Basically you should only be allowed to teleport yourself and teammates

Fine, but I already brought it up. It's not something that would kill EVERYONE. Hell, I flat out admitted that Juggernaut would survive it. And I even said I wouldn't be surprised if you had a scan that showed Kyle could survive something similar.
