Nah, I grew out of that at about 12. Not that I was ever into it anyway.

Grew out of it? At 12, my car interest was barely getting started. I personally believe that if you own a car (especially men) you should know how the thing works and how to fix it. Not just "I know how to turn it on, and step on the gas."

But, if every guy would be able to do that, you'd be kind of out of business, wouldn't you?

Precisely. When there are men like you who will willingly do it for me, why should I need to know? I understand the whole aspect of wanting to know how things work and why, by cars have never interested me. It's like being interested in trains or planes. There's no point, in my opinion.

Besides, I don't drive, it's pointless in London. I can get anywhere in London while avoiding traffic, for about £4.

Anyways, I mean, can't we all agree that gossiping is seen as a female activity. If that's right or wrong doesn't matter, but the media portrays it as such, and the general public buys it.

As The Omega already pointed out, it is a social weapon which is used by people of both sex, and it cannot be exclusively attributed to either sex.

Yeah, but it's like this: Gossiping is not exclusive to women, but it is more prevalent among them. Why? Because it's an intrinsic part of their social interaction and bonding experience. No, Bardock...Not 'bondage'.

Gender has nothing to do with gossip - it has to do with what kind of things are being said, but they are not neceseraly NOt gossip.

Same as what I just said, but add some bells. With bows. And ripened Guavas.

Well I don't do repairs; I do performance, custom, and detail work. But I do see your point.

My point is that I believe you should have a basic understanding of automotive mechanics. So when it comes to minor repairs, you can save your self a little money. Of course, the more serious/critical repairs and projects should be left to the pros.

Well, i guess if you buy a car or own one you should have a slight understanding of it, but in our society it is hardly necessary to be able to repair a car. And even if, it's not just something guys should know, but women top the same extend.
And you could argue the same thing about Computers, yet most people don't know much beyond how to start it.
