That's from the standpoint that homosexuality is not a choice though, people who are against homosexuality believe just that though.

But whose stance is more valid?

Who would know more about homosexuality? Heterosexuals or Homosexuals?

Answer that, then tell me who has the stronger stance.

Should I assume you don't actually believe that, but are merely quoting the other side's opinion?

I just don't unerstand how one can believe that. How can someone believe that a person who identifies as LGBT simply woke up one morning and goes "I'm done with being hetero. It's time for a change, because I really enjoy being the target of hatred, intolerance, and general supression of who I am."

Or were you referring to the actual act of homosexual sex, rather than the feelings of attraction?

I was referring to the sexual preference.

Not when it comes to the argument of whether or not being gay is a choice.

A Straight person wouldn't know. A Gay person would know thier own lifes history and feelings.

Sexual Preference has all to do with your attractions, which you have no control over.

You cannot choose who to get horny over......it's done for you. That should end the question of homosexuality being a choice once and for all.

Wow, you solved it.....thing is people don't care, they will still believe it is a choice whenever they feel like believing it is one.

If these people don't CARE, then they have no place telling a Gay person what to do...that simple.

My friend, I am aware of all the arguments OUR side uses, but are you really so blind to not see that people opposed to homosexuality use this kind of thinking?

I hate people who think like this. I'm gay and I have friends who disagree with homosexuality, I mean could you not be friends with someone who took drugs if you disagree with drug usage? Sure you could... But when it comes to homosexuality everyone's like "that's impossible."

I must admit, I was sad to read this.

For the record, I am not lesbian, bisexual, or transgender, so I can't argue from that standpoint. But I do know that I could not hold a friendship with anyone who did not love and accept every part of who I am, and I return those feelings for my friends.

I do not mean to undermine your friendships. But I do find it very hard to believe that the friendships you have with these people are loving and nuturing.

Hmmmm good question.

I look at it this way. If God created all of us equally, all he wants is us to be happy. Would he not even want his gay, lesbian, and bisexual children to be happy to?

That's how you think, the Supreme Fascist obviously disagrees.

😂 dont give facism a worse name by associating it wth that (though I agree with the association itself)

I think its difficult for people who are against homosexulaity to be agaisnt one. There needs to be a certain degree of acceptance.

I think this is a good concept, but tise very difficult to put into practice. Its more appropriate to like a strong majority in your friends. Sexual preference is apig part of a persons identity. Having issues with that is difficult.

We can all speak for ourselves, but being heterosexual myself I think I can disucuss homosexuality. I know homosexuals and I talk with them about this sort of thing. Its a level of experince. 99% of the counties in the US have publically homosexual persons, but its a matter of exposure. People against homosexuality, usually don't know many homosexuals or anyhting about it. Part of it may be that "you fear what you don't understand deal"

Short answer to main ques..yes....long answer to main question....there are many many sexual sins, this isn't any "worse" than any other sin. Besides, sin in general is made to be in degrees by humans, all sin makes us fall short, including cheating, lying and the "minor" sins we categorize....even being overly mean could probably qualify

The difference between being bi or gay and most things that are considered sins is that sins are actions. You do it once and God can forgive you. But being gay or bi is what you are. How can it be a sin to be yourself?

Yes according to Romans 1 being bisexual or gay is a sin

AHHH!

Someone finally found it. Romans 1:27.

1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Heres what I say to that.

1. Its clear the New Testement is full of hatred, jsut like the OT.
1.5. Off of that...the homosexuals are condemned to death. Get out your guns Christians!

2. Paul also explains that "the natural use" of women is to act as sexual objects for the pleasure of men.

Oh yes, did you hear? Objects all, the lot of us. In fact, I'm pretty sure my being here and speaking my mind is some sort of viola--blowup

*is smote*

😆 anyhting in the bible that condemns homosexuality simply isn't acceptable in modern times. its archaic.
