If you aren't impressed with Thanos fighting skills write marvel since they make it look pretty for you, besides you backflip all day long it means you can backflip not fight. My point Thanos is battle tested for Thousands of years, Superman, not so much.
Durability wise there is not much Superman can do to put Thanos down and keep him there, he doesn't have it in him nor the stamina Thanos has. Superman would be lucky to get 2/10 but I do believe he can with his speed. H2H skills not so much.

I doubt there is any martial art or H2H skills that Superman is going to bring to the table that will trump and subdue Thanos.

My opinion however is based on feats, on actual comics, on actual fights....

Agility, fighting ability, strength, and durability would garner Superman 3 wins.

Im sure Superman wasn't fighting the top tiers of Asgard as Thor does, meaning his fighting worthless opponents didn't do much for him. Asgardian Destroyer, Mangog, Loki, BRB, Durok The Demolisher, Skurge the Executioner, Fenris, Ulik, Ymir, the Warriors Three, etc; yea im sure he didn't fight them. Thanos knocking around Thor(has thousands of years of experience), Hercules(has thousands of years of experience), and Hulk says nothing for his skill and why he would demolish Superman?
To be clear, i dont belive Thanos to be the all end where skill is concerned.
He has overpowered those based on some skill yes but mostly because of higher raw strength, and power.
Even tho Gamora is uber skill and it was said Thanos had a hand in her training, i dont recall ever being stated, wich part of that training was. And if it was the skills part, Gamora does seem to be the better of the two.
That being said, Superman isent uber skilled either. This close match in my view, will be more a whos stronger and durable play to play.
