Why was Thanos protecting himself with force fields when fighting that ridiculous Champion ? Because it wouldn't hurt ?Superman is at least Champion level.
Force-fields are just a fraction of what Thanos can do. His extraordinady abilities comes from an always present power-boost channeled to Thanos through tech, perhaps his ship, wherever it may be. Saying Thanos should not get his tech-derived power boost is like saying Iron Man should not use his suit. It's just that Thanos's tech is so advanced he doesnt need a silly suit.

I said it before and I'll say it again : your debating skills never cease to amaze me.
Do me a favor, say it one more time.
I would address your comments but they have been addressed in the past and are so utterly ridiculous it just seems you like to read your own words and post garbage questions like your previous one.
So please, say it one more time.

I only asked why he put up his forcefield (more than once by the way) against Champion...

Finally, a whole sentence. I'm proud of you !Your next task, however, is a bit more difficult : try to counter a few of my points, and not just ignoring them or trying to be witty.
Your points are shitae, however just for fun. Thanos used a shield because he wanted to use Champions strength's against him to get the PG.
So he got Champion so worked up he destroyed the planet and in turn forced Champion to hand over his PG without Thanos so much as breaking a sweat. He did similar type things to all the Elders, used their strengths against them.
So your point about the shield was shitae, hence I ignore alot of your crap posts🙂
Now quick use another witty response, hurry up.

I'll tell you a secret, come closer : Thanos was hiding behind his shields because he knew he would get his ass kicked, because he knew he was, physically, no match for Champion.
If he was a match for Champion, he could have simply walked towards Champion, beat the living shit out of him and take the power gem.
But he didn't. He needed his shields a few times.
He even admitted fighting Champion is like fighting the Hulk "a fight I have tried to avoid..."
Thanos beating Champion was great, I enjoyed reading that (never could stand the so called Champion). But he didn't out muscle him, he used his brains.
Don't get me wrong, that's good for him, way to go Thanos !
But even you will admit that Superman is much more versatile than Champion and is of course a kabillion times smarter than Champion.
This means that Thanos' needs bigger shields.
Power Gem (red/pink*) - This gem contains access to all power and energy that ever has or will exist. It backs up the other gems and boosts their effects. With this gem alone, the user can eventually duplicate almost any physical superhuman ability, and is essentially physically invincible and therefore unbeatable when using raw power alone.

Did he say that for some reason he was even stronger than ever ? No, he never felt a difference, otherwise the writer or Champion himself would have suggested such a thing.
Thanos knew what it could do, and wanted it, and Thanos used it to his full potential. Not Champion.

That's a moot point. There are reasons to believe Champion never really tapped into his powers, because he's too dumb, he didn't realize it was a freaking power gem.Did he say that for some reason he was even stronger than ever ? He knew it was the power gem he even cried about it when Thanos asked him to hand it over..............this whole Champion piece is so convuluted to the Superman vs Thanos H2H discussion it sucks. Once again these are some of the reasons your examples SUCK, it holds little to no value as far as this discussion is concerned.

That's a fact.
Champion is too dumb. I can not prove Champion didn't use its power, agreed. But can you prove that Champions powers were increased with the power gem ?

True. But in order to use the gems to their full potential, you have to know what they can do, and it requires quite a bit of intelligence. That's a fact.

Champion may be dumb, but he's an elder who is nearly as old as the universe itself. With his time all he did was train, train to increase his physical attributes. Now why do you think that a being who's whole life has been focused on physical superiority wouldn't be able to use the power gem?
Originally posted by who?-kidyou do realize, that thanos has put champ down w/o moving before, but that fight proved he was stronger, he was actully cracking his sheilds.

Not so Avy. Thanos lost to Kazar, but iirc, it was later retconned to be a Thanosclone.
Squirrel Girl was a joke and everybody knows it.
And i don't turn down feats for DC and let Marvel slide. I downplay pis, normally, since it goes hand in hand with jobber auras which i hate. And Superman happens to have one of the larger ones, sans Batman and Spiderman.
Must have been one weak clone. Squirrel girl did it, Marvel probably realized how silly some Thanos fanboys are and did that to bring them back to earth. The jobber aura thing is true though, Thanos is also one of the top offenders.

Thanos gets the strength nod over Superman, due to the fact that he consistently owns those in Supermans bracket of strength. Not for lifting feats, since he has none, iirc.
Drax, Thor, Hulk, Surfer. He treats them like children. Superman has never done so. He's proved superior at times, but never just disregarded top tier attacks. You can't say that he has. Unless, you wanna bring up recent WW fights. And she, imo isn't top tier.
Surfer, he treats like a child.. It's psychological. SS hates and fears Thanos, and simply...jobs. He has unlimited options should have actually battle Thanos in bloodlust. Thor has given him (and his retconned clone) a run for his money. He definitely doesn't own him. Although Thanos should own Hulk, even then, he would rather not get into a real confrontation with him. Headbutting proffessor hulk and thing is hardly a feat. Drax...well, Drax is stupid...I find it hard to respect that character.

And the fact that Odin koed Surfer with a blast, of which Thanos took several and still stood, swaying though is a testament. I never bring up Galactus getting knocked off his ship or anything like that, cuz i see jobbery.
But Thanos is hella durable. Fact.
Superman flees blackholes for fear of his life. Thanos survived the crunch, though hurt badly. Takes Surfers blasts to no effect. Stood up to Thor with the PG. Until Superman takes hits from a guy who can rip apart stars to lil to no effect, Thanos is gonna appear to be more durable.
SS may have a bigger magic weakness that Superman or Thanos then. Superman has blocked Island destroying magic blasts with his body. Can we say that Odins blasts were that powerful? A drop of his blood cracked WW's magic sword. Magic is a funny thing with Superman, he isn't automatically invulnerable to it like with most things. It's a willpower thing with him. When he believes he can overcome it, he does. Strange but true.
Superman has been in a double black hole and has come out with barely a hair out of place. He's repaired destructive time and space with his body (I posted scans)... he's ridiculously durable.

Superman can probably take this with a dread speedblitz. But it doesn't take away from the fact, that the lil feats Thanos has, shows him to be the more physically powerful of the two.
That's the thing Uni. There aren't any real physical feats to prove the latter. Thanos has great feats in terms of things he's accomplished, and nice durability feats for some things. His greatest feats though are fights that he usually goes into prepared somehow. His greatest claims to fame aren't victories..they are simply "retreating with style."
