We still have no hand to hand feats without energy projection that place him anywhere near Supes' level. We know he's a tough guy, but so is Superman. Superman's been knocked through planets and gotten up to fight. Punched high tier charcters halfway across a solar system KOing them in one shot, punched a moon in half in one shot, threw a moon sized ship. Superman's feats are easily if not more credible given that the good feats of Superman don't require plot devices, or getting your ass kicked and running like most of the Thanos ones mentioned in the thread.Funny he takes on Odin, when the issue before that he could not handle Thor and had to plot device to beat him, who has himself sat Thanos down on multiple occasions. Thanos himself had admitted that he would not want to fight Hulk in hand to hand combat, and Superman is 100 times more deadly than Hulk or Champion.
Basically, where's the proof?
You guys are acting like I'm a Thanos hater, but I've read most of Thanos' appearances, from Thanos Quest, Blood and Thunder, to Infinity Watch, to his 12 issue series, to where it picks back up again in Annihilation, The End, on and on. I don't need to look in the respect thread, I've read what Thanos is and what Thanos can do. Can you say the same about Superman?
I know he's a high tier character, but I know he's far more brains than brawn, often seen running from battles without having something there as a specific leverage. I mean he ran from and plot deviced WM Thor, plot deviced Grandmaster, plot deviced Collector, Use a a gem on runner. Didn't actually defeat Champion physically, got whooped on by Odin [who was admitted very out of a battle shape.], lost to Galactus, made Fallen One defeat himself, seriously, we know he's a tough SOB, but where's the proof? Where's the feats? Losing, running and hiding, or plot devicing are hardly credible battle feats that would make me think he could take on Superman without doing any of the above.
Shit, in a minute I can already see one of you guys showing Thanos smacking around a few Earth guys with the Infinite Gauntlet, and acting like it's actually something special that Detective Chimp couldn't do with the same amount of power.

In addition, Superman has used his body as a shield to block a magical bolt capable of destroying an entire Island. Don't know if Odins bolts were quite that strong....

bigbran just provided a pic with Thanos physically owning about 5 of earths hero's, including Thor. Now your going to say That Superman>Thor which isn't true.

If Odins attacks don't work on Supes, than Odin would have no way of putting Superman down. This implies that Superman can in fact defeat Odin.
