God loves all of you even if no one else does

Let us do as we please without condemning us? What's with 'Believe in god or go to hell!'? Thats condemning. As well, God says do that and do this or go to hell. Free Will sucks.

Janus X, no one is condemning you. Look at it like this Janus X: suppose you were a convicted felon and you were imprisoned, would you then criticize the judge for putting you where you belong? You don't go to jail because you believe in the judge or don't believe in the judge (your belief is irrelevant and immaterial). You go to jail because you are already condemned. Similarly, Jesus Christ said that those who do not believe are condemned already.

John 3:17-18
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

We were all born condemned that is why Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins to save us from, release us from, redeem us from, and deliver us from this state of condemnation (because we are already condemned). But the gospel (gospel means "good news"😉 is that we do not have to remain condemned (we do not have to stay or remain is this state). We can be set free from the condemnation of sin by simply trusting in Christ Jesus.

Furthermore Janus X, free will is a good thing, without it you would be an automaton.

Here are some references to peruse Janus X:

2 Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

1 Timothy 2:3-4, “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
who desires all men [people] to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Based on the above Bible verses it is incorrect to conclude that God desires for any person to go to Hell. It IS NOT God's will for even one person to go to Hell. Re-read the above Bible verses for confirmation of this. God went out of His way to keep you, me, and everyone else out of Hell. God was very proactive about keeping us from going to Hell when we die.

John 3:16
God so loved the world [you, me, and everyone else] that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus] that whoever believes in Jesus should not perish [in Hell], but have everlasting life [in Heaven].

Did you see that Janus X? God so loved the world--not so hates the world--that He gave--not withheld--His only begotten Son--Jesus is God's dear Son and yet God gave Him up to die for the sins of the whole world. Jesus Christ willingly went to the cross to pay for the sins of the world in accordance with His Father's plan to keep us from going to Hell. Don't make the mistake ever again, as long as you live of believing the devil's lie that God wants you, me, or anyone else to go to Hell. This simply is not the truth. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father God except through Him.

So to sum up the most important points Janus X:
1. You do not have to go to Hell.
2. Jesus went to Hell for you.
3. But your sins have separated you from God.
4. For this reason you must be born again.
5. You are born a sinner.
6. You must not sit by idly and do nothing about you sinful condition/state.
7. You must be proactive.

Based on the Bible Jesus Christ did go to Hades (Hell).

Hades is not Hell.

Hades is not Hell.

In the Bible hades is hell, in no way connected with the Greek God. Hades means both the ancient Greek abode of the dead (the underworld) and the god of that place. So when translating the Bible from the original Greek Texts you get Hades.

Jesus never went to hell anyway, he had encounters with Satan who you could describe as some sort of portable hell but Jesus never actually went there. However, if your an idiot you would assume that, "in the presence of Satan and his hell" means that you were with Satan in Hell, when it actually means, with Satan who's being is completely and utter evil, corrupt and just plane nasty. Hell represents Satan's Aura in this context, opposed to Hell the place.

Yes however, the Greek concept of Hades is nowhere near the Christian concept of it. The real meaning of the word is not how it is perscribed by JIA. It just goes to show how this concept was simply fabricated.

The concept doesn't really matter, its the translation. Early Christians took Hades to mean underworld, so when writing the Bible in Ancient Greek they used Hades, for some reason this has survived into some English versions of the bible, I'm not sure why, it should be translated as hell or perhaps underworld. Its just one of those things, but try to separate it from the Greek concept when used in reference to Christianity. JIA just used it too sound clever, a point I made about his type of Christian somewhere else in this forum.

Quick question: Were Adam and Eve ever given a chance to repent?

According to my memory, no. I could be wrong.

You are, they did and are apparently in heaven. (I hope my sig inspired that question...or is it coincidence?)

Well actually it was the face I been reading Paradise Lost and Milton takes a whole lot of liberties with the Bible.

Well, now you Adam and Eve are in Heaven...we can all have a go at Eve when we get there!

Correct it is a Heberw idiom for Sheol which is bascially purgatory. Tartarus/the lake of fire is another entity. Hell is a useless word.

It is also a useless concept. The Bible sure seems to reference this useless word a lot though....

I pity Christians. They're mind is so weak, they need a fictional book created by men(You mean. Humans. That can LIE), to tell em how to guide their life.
