Hades = Sheol therefore that argument fails. Tartarus is used once, not constantly and is described as different from the Tartarus, therefore this fails as well. Transliterating Hebrew idioms into Greek simply used Greek words. That is no secret, however, they are different so that argument for borrowing this cannot stand.

Hermes is recorded in Greek mythology and lore (this is his original context), but Jesus Christ is never associated with Greek mythology. There are historical, extrabiblical records that Jesus Christ existed. Do your homework though because I will not do it for you.

Why?

Why?

Because you, Goddess Kali and I were involved in the discussion about myth. I cited why I believe that Jesus' resurrection is not myth in contrast to some actual stories that are mythical.

Ignorance +1.

Sweet.

I wouldn't consider ignorance to be sweet. More bitter I would suspect.

Why does God love us so much? Well, the Word of God--the Holy Bible--tells us that God is love. Love is a Person, His Name is Jesus Christ.

That may be so....

But them god damned right winged christens who like to shove the bible down your throat..... Now THEY need to go take a look in the mirror because their life's are most likely more messed up and full of sins than mine is.

I'm done.

Like the taste of failing to describe the young Earth creationist viewpoint.

when did that happen?

In the comic.

We're willing to call "sin" as "sin," though. What is sinful in the eyes of God is, well, normal to you.

It doesn't seem to mention young-earth creationism. Just creationism.

He talks about Noah's ark and describes the medicine as being "intelligently designed" (in contrast to YEC).

EDIT: Either way, he says (indirectly) that creationists believe that organisms are static rather than dynamic.

I guess.

I just have had horrible church goings. I'm not very religious but I have beliefs of my own. I do believe there is something more than we understand "God" whoever... or whatever it is.

My whole thing against it is just the people who try to push it on you. It should be an self journey and only that.
