In character, Superman gets hit a lot. Plain and simple. And not just by super speedsters either, it is very disingenuous of the DC side to act like he does not.

Nope, it doesn't count. Superman will use his speed, go all out with his power but Surfer will just blast. That is what I got from H1 and Saint.

Can you for one second use this same philosophy for the Surfer? Those arguing against him have turned him into a useless flying brick. It's as if his name was somehow switched from the Silver Surfer to Captain Britain. He has far more options than what has been given to him.
The plethora of options I think is what is holding Surfer back - btw, not by me.
I clearly stated Surfer wins this match PRECISELY by using his versatility, before people jump on me.
The myriad options he has, however, is why H1 is saying he loses. Like having a guy who knows 100 martial arts, can breathe fire and shoot ice from his hands, glow in the dark, has claws growing from his elbows etc etc.....
Vs a guy with a gun. Before the first guy knows which of his martial arts to use, or whether he should breathe fire or shoot ice or whatever, the bullet has entered his noggin and blown his brains out.
Now, I don't want to play the lowball game, which is how Abhi or others might do. That is how they play - so they will scan dump low showings of Surfer.
However, I walk a different path. I don't lowball - so will use good showings all around.
Doomsday 4 shotted Darkseid, and just as I wouldn't lowball Surfer, I wouldn't lowball DS either. But I would put Darkseid above Surfer.

Also, if Surfer is capable of doing anything, why would he resort to just doing one thing, lol? Doesn't make sense. What I see is, Superman and Doomsday fight to the best of their abilities and Surfer being so powerful and capable, he doesn't fight to the best of his abilities because he have to many abilities to use (like, wtf). So, being all powerful weakens Surfer whereas Supes and Doomsday being more one dimensional empowers them. I wonder if this applies to Green Lanterns. If people just say they use constructs in their fights. Let me check.

Same way Flash just punches, instead of going all out with every single SpeedForce power he has ever pulled out of his ass, lol. Same way Batman opens a fight with batarangs instead of spamming his entire belt at the same time.
Same way MMH doesn't spam every single power. Or since you are so obsessed with Superman (lol), same way Superman doesn't start every fight singing people out of existence whilst using his HV that seals holes in reality whilst rubbing his hands for electricity whilst using superbreath at lightspeed.....
I mean, if you want, Flash can start every fight throwing SpeedForce electricity whilst creating timeclones whilst creating SpeedForce armour whilst speedstealing and throwing IMPs and matter manipulating and shooting things at lightspeed and speed lending and attacking them as a baby and sending them into the SpeedForce and overloading them with energy.....
Hulk is more than just a brick, agree? Yet we all agree he starts a fight with punching or thunderclapping, even though he can do more than that.
Being more 1 dimensional helps, especially if you are VERY good at it. Flash is fast, Hulk is strong, Doomsday is strong. I am way more versatile than a bullet, but that bullet will always beat me.
