Yes. So if the universe started from something...it can't be infinite.

I dont understand elaborate.

The universe started from a little ball of everything correct?

You know, the super dense, super hot ball of matter that exploded? Hence the bang that spread the matter?

Or is this just another scientific cornerstone that you don't have a grasp on.

The universe did not start from a "little" anything. Little in what sense? Space didn't exist at that point.

A little ball of mass. It exploded. If you have taken middle school science, then you know how and why it works.

Litter I imagine in comparison to the cloud of matter it released that formed the universe and everything in it. It was super dense after all.

Uh huh. If you know "how and why" the Big Bang happened, you're better of than physicist in the world.

And Imperial_Samura, what I mean is this: you have something, say, a pen, and you measure it. What you're measuring is really how much space it takes up. I don't think it makes sense to talk about the Big Bang singularity as being "small" because space didn't exist at that point; it was created, along with time, in the Big Bang.

So your only problem with it is the word "small"? You would be happy with just - a super dense, super hot ball of matter?

Really I have no problem with using small or whatever. The ball of matter was smaller then the universe formed by the explosion, thus small seems fine. And if one accepts matter has been speeding away from the site where the original explosion took place it is significantly smaller then the resulting matter cloud.

So your only problem with it is the word "small"? You would be happy with just - a super dense, super hot ball of matter?

Sure. I'm not trying to pick an argument here, I just thought "small" was a sort of odd way of putting it.

Now I think about it I realise it wasn't me who originally said little.

Still, I don't mind either way, I can see why it can be described like that, but I'm just happy to call it super dense.

I dont understand what point you are trying to make.

What do you mean by another.....

There is no way to know scientifically if there is a God or not. So I think we must search for other methods if we want to answer this question or be forced to give up.

Thank goodness, someone finally gets it.

This JesusIsAlive person follows the same mindset from back in the Inquisition, according to my extremly religous grandmother, I just have to be a good Human-Being to get into Heaven, though I don't believe in it, course she's Lutheran I think, not Catholic

Nope, wrong answer. Good people go to Hell. Saved people get into Heaven. How do you get saved?

Romans 10:9-10,13
that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13
For "Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord [Jesus Christ] shall be saved."

1. God says you must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that He (God) has raised Him (Jesus Christ) from the dead, and you will be saved. You will be forgiven for all your sins, and declared to be righteous to go to Heaven.

2. Whoever calls on the Name of Lord Jesus Christ for salvation shall be saved. Whoever sincerely believes in, depends on, and trusts in Jesus Christ with all their heart will be saved. Ask Jesus Christ to save you from your sins, to declare you to be righteous, and to give you everlasting life. Thank Jesus for forgiving you for all of your sins, for declaring you to be righteous, for making
you good enough to go to Heaven, and for dying to pay for your sins.

Say this prayer from your heart:

Lord Jesus, I confess that You are Lord, and I believe with all of my heart that God raised You from the dead. I call upon Your Name for salvation. Also Lord Jesus, I repent from all of my sins. Thank You for saving me and giving me everlasting life now.
