I'll assume you are referring to homosexuals and answer you this: discrimination is bias based on what we are not what we do. Homosexual actions are condemned not being homosexual. A God of narrowmindedness? How so? If someone does find everything permissable they are not narrowminded. You need to realize this. A God of hypocracy? Where? When? Back up your claims if you can. Contradictions? This has been brought up before and you need to understand that there are no contradictions. Flaws? None. Failed churches? Human error not God's. It is the result of free will not God's will. Women can be church authorities in Biblical Christianity so do not make false claims please, homosexuality is not miniscule by the definition you used because it is in contrast to God's design. And men are allowed to shave their beards. Please quit attempting to bash God without valid claims. It is pointless.

Denial.... 🙄

Okay Nelly my dear freind. Let me present you with various Biblical contradictions:

1)

EXO 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

ROM 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

2)

PSA 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

JER 13:14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them

3)

JOH 10:30 I and my Father are one.

JOH 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

4)

GEN 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
GEN 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

GEN 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
GEN 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

5)

PRO 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

ECC 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

1 Cor.1:19: "For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and wil bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."

6)

ISA 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

DEU 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Okay bro.....explain those contradictions for me. 🙂

Now it is important to remember that I can except my word for all knowing truth , but can give you my opinion based on Biblical truths on these matters. You got me flipping around my Bible to make sure that I would not take passages out of context.

1) This one is relatively simple. He is God of both. God is the God of peace, but when war is needed or arises, God is all powerful and can not be defeated. The ancient porverb that might also explain this is "War makes peace."

2) This is probably the toughest question to answer that non-Christians frequently ask.
I also have thought and pondered over these types of passages.
Now in direct relation to the ones you have mentioned... the second part may be better translated as "he has compassion on all he has made" which can be evidenced by the sending of His only begotten Son. God has compassion on everyone and gives ample oppurtunity for repentance. Also, you can read just above this verse in Psalm 145:8 that "The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love." However, sometimes our sin forces God's hand against us. God can take vengeance, but he usually does this to spare others from having to suffer the same fate.

3) No contradiction here because Jesus is not disclaiming himself as God, but rather saying that though they share the same spirit, God is greater (mainly, I believe because he does not have flesh).

4) The passages in Genesis 2 are not placing the events in order. You have to read the entire creation account to see this. Therefore, there is no contradiction.

5) This is not a contradiction, but rather a deep truth of existence. What it basically means is that wisdom does not necessarily lead to salvation.

6) What I am seeing here is the Law which applies to humans punishing each other and the Lord taking action on behalf of his people. In the Law people are not to punish children for the mistakes of their fathers. However, God punishes Babylon so that it will never rise again by eliminating its people which are would have been bound to corrupt many through its evil ways and corruption. These simply illustrate an important difference between God and man.

"War makes peace" is the biggest misconception any person can beleive. True peace does not evolve from the slaughter of innocent people....just look at the state of this world. Has peace ever really prevailed over all ? No....war is stronger.

God would make sons and fathers turn against each other ? That's more then just vengeance Nell, that's sadistic....I didn't know God was capable of sadism. ❌

To spare others from suffering the same fate ? I thought we each were responsible for our own sins? You mean that YOU could accidently suffer God's wrath, because I'm a "sexual deviant" ? My "sin" has nothing to do with you, yet you could accidently be punished by God for somethign that has nothing to do with you?

Why would God even think to punish someone who didnt deserve it ? Or send a punishment that hurts EVERYONE instead of just the people he feels deserve it ?

So if he have flesh, then we're inferior? God created flesh...how could he create something so unclean?

Oh wait...he created Hell....my bad.

There's a major contradiction..first it says God made the beasts before the man, then it says he made the man before the beasts...

which is it ?

Is it unwise to follow the path of God ?

You have successfully countered nothing.....

The ancient proverb should read... "War forces Peace"

and forced peaces never solve anything.

As I said. War is sometimes necessary. God will move in wars to favour the righteous.

We all deserve punishment. Humans are terrible creatures that lie, steal, murder, etc... And God sends his punishment on those that deserve it. Since we responsible for our own sins the punishment is deserved.
I was saying more that terrible and unremorseful sinners (such as Sodom and Gommorah) were punished to spare others from being corrupted by the them. Therefore God would be punishinng them for their own sins while hopefully sparing others from being likewise corrupted.

Flesh was not created unclean, it was tainted by sin.

It was beasts before man. As I said Genesis 1 is chronological, whereas Genesis 2 is not.

No, the more we know the better. The Bible says to attain wisdom no matter the cost. But, man's wisdom and God's wisdom are very different. Man's wisdom does not get one into heaven, but attaining God's wisdom is a great start.

You failed to see what I meant. Man cannot be placed in the ultimate seat of judgement. That is why two eye witness accounts were needed to put a man to death in the Law. Man cannot weigh the motives of the heart, but God can. Therefore, God can order judgement on peoples while men cannot.

Wow... 🙄 ....What a pessemistic view of this world.

Human Beings also tell the truth, give, work honestly, give life, and love.....how easily you are to condemn the negative, and ignore the positive.

You have truly proven how brainwashed you really are. ✅
Thanks for clarifying. 👆

So we deserve a flood, we deserve war, we deserve disease, we deserve torture, we deserve all the sufferings that exist....

Those things are not spawned of Love.....those things can only come from Hatred, Cruelty, or Sadism.....your God sends us those things as punishments, therefore he is not of love.

You cannot have it both ways ❌ Your imaginary God is either a loving being or a hateful one....

I want to see your faces as you see God in all of His splendor, glory, and majesty sitting on His throne. I want to watch as the Lord Jesus Christ embraces you in His everlasting love. I want to watch you marvel as you walk on streets of pure transparent gold. I want to see your expression as you realize that the Word is true all along and that you almost missed Heaven because of unbelief. Don't miss Heaven. 1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written: “ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Maybe we could be neighbors. Hey, what the heck we could have a house in New Jerusalem and one in the country (God will give us the desires of our heart if we delight ourselves in Him). I wonder what activities are going on right now in Heaven. I can't wait to go to Heaven! Heaven is going to be so great that our minds cannot even imagine it. I have had a lot of fun on this planet. I've been to a lot of places but no place...I tell you no place can hold a candel to Heaven. Think of your most thrilling experience here on earth...It doesn't come close to Heaven. Maybe you, me, Nellinator, Justbyfaith, and every other born again believer in Jesus Christ could have mansions on the same streets of pure transparent gold. I don't care for hiking but when I get to Heaven, I am going hiking. I won't have to worry about falling off of a cliff or getting attacked by any wild animals. There is perfect harmony, order, and love in Heaven. Everyone is filled with the knowledge and life of God (and God is Love and God is life), that is why there is no death, sorrow, crying, or pain in Heaven. I am probably going to ask God for a pet tiger too. No more 9 to 5 either. We will be busy but not for the sake of earning a paycheck. We will function within the scope of God's economy and God has no shortages; only surpluses. God has no recessions or economic downturns; only abundance and prosperity. Well why? See part 2

Tell me, what did the last supper taste like? Because you've got your tounge so far up Jesus' ass that I imagine you would know.

Part 2

Well why doesn't Heaven have any depressions or recessions? Well the answer is simple: under our human, earthly economy human labor is necessary to harness resources for commerce. But in Heaven God creates everything that is necessary or desired. No human has to sweat and work to obtain raw materials from the earth (wood, oil, coal, cotton, wheat, sugar, etc.). Everything that we need comes from God. So since there is no human labor in Heaven then their is no need for compensation (currency to exchange for resources). You don't need money to exchange for a house (God has already provided it mortgage free). You don't need transportation (we travel at the speed of thought). You don't need a college education (their are no jobs, no need for them). There are no retail outlets (God provides our raiment pure and clean). There are no restuarants (God provides our nourishment). We eat for pleasure and enjoyment any way not to survive. There is no law of supply and demand (God provides more than enough for everyone with abundance left over). I want to swim in Heaven's river (I won't have to worry about drowning) (there's no death or pain remember). The very breezes of Heaven are permeated with God's fragrance according to some who have been there and back. All of the colors of Heaven are supremely more vibrant as well. The colors down here are like technicolor and Heaven's colors are like plasma tv colors. There are no police stations, hospitals, clinics, cemetaries, old folks homes, third world countries or poverty in Heaven (the former things have passed away). There are no fire departments, drug dealers, jails, prisons, terrorists, skid rows, gangs, pedophiles, rapists, criminals, convicts, prostitutes, or pornography (God won't allow it. The former things have passed away). There is no pollution, refineries, ozone layer depletion, nuclear missiles, bombs, nuclear warheads, or any of that. Again, just because Heaven does not feature any of these negative, fleshly things, it still will be better. These earthly things are all that we know so we almost cannot imagine life without these things. God knows that that is why He made Heaven so much better so that our eyes could open that much wider when we get there. We are going to be so exhilarated, excited, jubilated, joyous, and euphoric that we are going to jump for joy repetively the moment that we touch down in Heaven. The angel assigned to escort us there will just smile with joy as he looks upon our excitement and jubilee. We will not be able to contain our joy. We will shed tears of joy and not stop praising God. We will fall to the ground in Heaven in pure joy and amazement. We will see creatures that this earth has never known. We will see mighty angels, some with wings and some without. We will some angels who have six wings. We will see the living creatures mentioned in the fourth chapter of the Book of Revelations. See part 3

1. YOu dont know?

2. You engaged in a homosexual act. Hypocrite.

Part 3

We will see the twenty-four elders mentioned in the Book of Revelations. We will eventually go before the throne of God...this is what I am looking forward to the most! I cannot wait to see Jesus, the Father God, and the Holy Spirit. It will so wonderful to [i]finally[/] behold with my two eyes (after doing so with eyes of faith for so long) the God that I have been worshipping, preaching, talking about, telling others about, reading about, praying to, talking to, and walking with. It will be like finally exhaling after holding your breath for a long period of time. The bible says:

Deuteronomy 29:29
“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

I wonder what God has in store for us believers in Jesus Christ. I can't wait...I can't wait...I can't wait! This planet is actually a copy of Heaven. The way that it is set up: mountains, valleys, snow capped mountains, rivers, lakes, ponds, vegetation, trees, animals, insects, buildings, furniture, homes, structures, sidewalks (but there made "of" gold, not "out of gold" there is a big difference. There are streets (also made of pure, transparent gold), and neighborhoods as it were. Although Heaven has all these things it is still more advanced and operating by a higher law (spiritual law). There is no corruption in Heaven; no rust or decay. There is no dust and, get this: there are no shadows! That's right, you do not cast a shadow in Heaven: remember God is Light, in Whom is no variableness nor shadow of turning. God is Light! There is no more sea but there is a river of water of life pure and clean proceeding from God and Jesus' throne. see part 4

Part 4

http://option-wizard.com/aa/17.shtml

I don't want to write my own words anymore I will see who else has written about Heaven. I have other things to do at the moment.

Towels

"The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy has a few things to say on the subject of towels.
A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value - you can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapours; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a mini raft down the slow heavy river Moth; wet it for use in hand-to- hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (a mindboggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you - daft as a bush, but very ravenous); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.
More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitch hiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is is clearly a man to be reckoned with."

Yeah, I thought I just randomly quote a book...one that's better than the Bible too.
