Yea, that's what I think, I don't think whe Will/Liz thing is true.....but if it is, it's a small part of the movie, and is not going to interfere with the Jack/Liz developement.

See if people supporeted a character like him and disney thought it was bad for them then the public would support a liz/jack relationship for sure..Disney must realise this by now. Risks are a good thing in this franchise. The uptight people at disney must have seen the jack/liz kiss and supported it. The majority of the audience have embraced it for sure.

Yea, The writers will probably at least have a script for a 4th movie planned out during the filming for the 3rd movie, because they have so many great plots and ideas organized, and ready to be scripted.....which the filming for the 3rd is to resume in a few weeks, Aug. 3rd, and they are going to be filming for about 4 months. and they think they should be close to finishing the 3rd late Nov.- early Dec. And they will probably start the filming process for the 4th one shortly after the 3rd one is done filming, usually about a month or two they wait between shooting films.

LOl the only reason I went to watch the 1st one was because he was in it..I was surprised that they wanted him in a Disney movie. I wasnt a HUGE fan of JD until THAT movie lol. I was like OMG he makes Disney cool again!
All right I just saw it again, and I had some big thoughts. One of them is a bit of going back on earlier comments... i still hope liz and jack get together, and think it is a better overall choice--- but i was wondering if Liz's moment of true "piracy" just made her miserable, which is why she is heartbroken at the end. She was curious, she gave it a shot, and felt terrible afterward. not that she cheated on will or whatever, but that she did something really dishonorable by locking jack up, and it didnt give her the satisfaction she thought it would. Its true i think she does look to him as a hero.
2. will is actually pretty piraty in this film. he's pretty much caused a whole ships death, he's carrying a dagger in his mouth, and as usual, he working against Capt. Jack.
3. If Tia Dalma was at one time Davy's lover (which we dont know) why would she help Jack kill him?
AND, her dress looks scary-alike to Liz's wedding dress, just old and worn out.
4. I think Jack knows Barbossa is alive. In Tia Dalma's hut, he actually picks up Barbossa's old hat, looks at it, etc. I think he knows. Which may explain why he doesnt mind being all heroic in the last moment- he knows Dalma can bring him back or something.

5. I get more and more convinced jack was going to stay on the ship at the end. And i almost think he knew what Liz was up to... Its true that he looks delighted by it--- like, he thinks it is hott. but i dont think he was entirely suspecting that either.
6. there actually were more good will/liz moments than i remember- they just have a good level of trust and work together well on the ship when the kraken is attacking... will trusts her to shoot properly, liz trusts him to get off in time, etc. i dont see any extremely romantic chemistry, but they do get along well. they can talk with their eyes.
7. this is purely my opinion, but i actually think Will figures out why Liz kissed him when she says "he elected to stay behind". there is just a look of meaning that passes between them, and in my mind that means that Will understood what she did... which makes him saying "if there was anything could be done to bring Jack back..." make a bit more sense. He knows she feels awful about what she did and he wants to help her set things right or something.
i'll probably think of more junk to say as things go along, hehe. Jack gets hotter and hotter. He and Liz should def. end up together.
Good observations^^ I think Liz really did enjoy the rush of it but regretted doing it to her friend..if she really wasnt getting off on the rush she wouldnt have kept him chained to the ship. She enjoyed it but didnt like the thought she did it to jack. IMO I actually think that she realised she had gone a bit too far, She was too caught up in the moment at the time to realise..Jack who is a full fledged pirate would never do that to her. and she realised that after she did it..a little too late.
I also dont think that last moment where she says "he wanted to stay behind" made will realize what she did..Will didnt see her chain him..to him it could have seemed like she kissed him then came back acting as if she only spoke to him. Will saw that she was the one in controll when kissing jack and not the other way around..she looked like she was getting into it much more than jack was..Will might not be angry at Jac for the kiss..he's probably moe angry at Liz..He expects it from Jack but not Liz.
did you see the compass on the beach bit where it was rested on the floor between them?..to me it seems like the compass is saying to jack/the audience "you and liz"
Also when did the compass "stop working" for jack? was it after Liz had broken out of jail?
and yeh. I think jack knew she was about to betray him actually. Whats hot about that is that he actually LET her.

LOOOL like him falling down the steps when holding it. Putting the heart in it caused Norrington to find it... I think that voodoo lady has it in for jack. She's giving him alot of bad luck.
