LOL and then you see her pretending to be all disgusted by the suggestion..she walks off..looks over the pearl and is smirking about what he just said. Then Norrington comes up beside her and she is all likt "Oh shit!..he saw me smirking..I better lie and pretend it means nothing!"
Now thats why its hard to tell if she's doing this stuff just for a thrill or if she is doing it because she wants Jack.
The thrill to her is the pirate lifestyle and in this film Jack is like the master/Hero/teacher/legend of all pirates to her. So an attraction to him would be a possibility. Its like a crush on a teacher. He is everything she wants to be so why not fall for him? She wants to make him proud of her and she does at the very end by out doing him at his own game.
^^ Yes, and that not only attracts Jack to her more, it shows more of her attraction to Jack....once we get more info on the 3rd movie, we'll be able to narrow down these theories a little more 🙂 and again, Jack represents the thrill of a pirate life, that liz wants, so that would be one of the reasons why she is attracted to him. And don't forget Keira Knightly's comment during that interview she had at the UK premier. "it's the dred-locked "grubby" guy she really likes" meaning, Jack. 😄

I agree. we kinda haven't seen Jack show us that she means more than just a piece of meat to him..... until the betrayal scene of course..thats when he looked at her in a new light it seems. He's going to develop more in the next one for sure.

She has also shown us that she is powerless to resist what he wants from her...he kinda has her under his thumb a little bit.
So earlier we were talking about "who could come up with the most bizarre theory" I think I have it:
Elizabeth has a twin sister who has been held in captivity by pirates for the past 20 years. They will discover her, and then Will can have her, while Liz gets to sail off into the sunset with Jack...
lol ^^ maybe, but I don't think so 😂 but that is one of the weirdest i've heard so far lol.....and they probably will tie up the relationship thing nicely in the 3rd movie.....and there is a very big possibility of a 4th movie, and that will start something totally new, probably starting a new trilogy.....but probably nothing new in the relationship department , as far as the character getting together with different people than they will end up with in the 3rd movie 🙂
In that curiosity scene I'm trying to figure out why she is telling him he wants to do the right thing but she is secretly wishing for him to to the wrong thing. hence the dissapointment he pulled away.
Its almost as if she is lying to herself by saying that its what she wants from him but in reality she doesn't really want him to be an honest man. So why did she even start talking about wanting him to be an honest man whilst wanting to secretly kiss him?..doesnt make sense..

Or is it that she changed her intentions halfway through the scene and remembered how much she liked jack suggesting sex to her earlier and wanted to get that kind of satisfaction from him again by teasing him back??
