She also says something like - "You want whats inside the chest *turns to Will* DONT YOU" He looks at her as if "wha?" hint hint. She knows he may want the same destiny later on. The music is all sinister when it focuses on Will.

I honestly don't think her intensions are good at all. I think she realised about a dark destiny and wants to make it happen. She starts to flirt suggesting that he wants to "get to know her" She might know that this would seperate Liz from him further if Liz spotted the two of them kissing. Losing Liz over that might make him finally cross the line and cut his heart out.

If she knew about this dark destiny and didnt want it from him..why oh why didnt she tell him right there? She is a very suspicious character.

She's also sort of persuading Jack to follow his heart..(steal Liz)

She says Davy's woman was "as changing, harsh and un-tameable as the sea"..Its totally what Liz i becoming to Will.

I can't wait until we know more info about this movie, then we can narrow down our theories a bit, and create new ones based on that info...and I wonder what conversations there will be between Jack Will and Liz about that kiss...........and when the DVD comes out, we are going to spend from that time, until the 3rd movie comes out analyzing the POTC 3 trailors on the DVD.....and all the extras from the 2nd one lol.

and I don't think Jack would steal Liz, I think they would just decide they need to be together, obviously undirectly, and maybe under the circumstances that something happens/goes wrong with Will, and can't put up a "fight" so to speak, for liz...........and all this would be perfectly set up on another island scene.....this time with no fooling around because they are drunk lol.

and I don't think Tia's intentions are good either....and Davyj's and his life is VERY similar to the life of Will and Liz.....

Yeh thats true. I dount he would steal her..he just wants her..It takes two to tango and Liz is going to have to want Jack if they were to be tgether.

could explain why she wants to bring Jack back..to make Liz and him get together..causing Will to completley go off the handle.

Will also says to her "we need to find the flying dutchman" (in persuit of Davy Jones) then when she throws the things down to locate it she says "A touch of DESTINY" repeating the same thing she said before. Saying it twice means its important..and both times its directed at Will.

^^ Yes, I noticed that, and in this movie, something brought up twice means it's important. first and second movies.

Yeah Tia is a bit off... extremely intriguing character... definately unpredictable. Maybe she just likes breaking men's hearts.

So here's a random question (as long as we are overanalyzing things, hehehe) why doesnt Liz drink to Jack at the end of the film? Even Will does.

You know what I want? A good snuggly Liz/Jack hug. I think Jack is a good hugger. Wouldnt that be hott?

^^Right, but then again....he didn't really die..... I wonder if she knows that.....hmmm......all she knows is, she is going to help to save him in the next movie....however he escapes/gets saved, it will be sometime in the beginning of the movie....

Notice how Jack seems super-uncomfortable around Will in this film? In the first he just tends to dupe him and make fun of him, but in this one, he always seems extremely ansty around him. Coincidence? i think not...

yeh I noticed..he didnt like it when Tia started flirting with Will. He went and butted in 😂 I dont think he likes Will's competition (He's stealing all my women). Will stands in the way of what his heart really wants. I dont think he realizes its Liz yet but he probably will soon. All this tension he has with Will shows us that its because of Liz. He just needs to realise why he is acting like that around him.

Its weird. In the first film it was more about Jack trying to convince Will he is a pirate..but in this one that focus switched to liz.

^^ Yea, obviously, Jack knows Will knows he's a pirate, because Will met his father, Bootstrap, so Jack can consentrate on Liz more.

Jack is like the pirate-virus. he turns everyone pirate. yum.

Its like he deliberatley sent Will over to the flying dutchman because he wanted to be rid of him(not kil him). Subconciously Will is his competition and its obviously because of Liz..She's the one he cant get and he is probaly pissed off that Will got her so he feels he has to win her over..Its like an alpha male thing going on lol. Totally won her over though lol.

Even when all 3 men were fighting at the end he decided to get Will in trouble by reminding Norrington that Will won Elizabeth. He's trying to cause tension over her between those two men so he can escape..which could symbolise him going and winning her whilst the others are distracted. I don't mean he went to go get her in that scene its just a deeper meaning thing.
