It should be sacred...and the government should just stay out of it for good.
I do not think homosexuality is right from my religious point of view.
However, "I hate the sin not the sinner." I have my own faults. If a gay person hated and oppressed me because of one of those faults, it would be just as wrong as me hating and oppressing them. Jesus Christ did not teach hate and oppression.
Do two women grinding it-with a stupid piece of paper that says they are married- in their own home affect me? NO!!!! Do two men in their own home-who are married as well-pounding each others asses until they make poop babies affect me in my own separate home? Of course not!
There has to be a separation of church and state. My "church" should not affect the laws of the state-as long as those laws to do not affect my "church".
