Thom Yorke - The Eraser

I’m surprised that no one has made a thread about this but…I just ordered a copy of this album today. I haven’t heard it yet but I wonder if anyone else has heard it and what they thought?

Yeah, I got it last week.

It's absolutely brilliant.

I just bought it today, i'm taking my first listen through it. So far i like what i'm hearing. Very good stuff.

next time I'll just buy it at the store

its definatly in my "to buy" pile... but its quite a pile at the moment 🙁

Favorite tracks so far? So far my favorite tracks are The Eraser, Analyze and And It Rained All Night. What do you guys think of the production, its beautiful stuff but I especially love And It Rained all Night, instrumenatal worthy track.

I picked couple weeks ago as well, I like The Clock and Harrowdown Hill.

finally bought this CD yesterday. its very good. all the tracks flow nicely and its a pretty calm listen. favs are Black Swan and The Eraser

I like it.

It definitely has a different feel than Radiohead, obviously setting it apart. Quite honestly, I expected it to sound a bit like Radiohead's more electronic songs (Idioteque, The Gloaming, Sit Down. Stand Up., Like Spinning Plates). This album doesn't remind me of those songs at all, really. That's not a bad thing, just not what I expected.

Thom's vocals are superb, and the electronic beats are interesting and often catchy, but not exactly groundbreaking. It's still a solid album, but I'll still be anxiously awaiting the next Radiohead release. This album should be able to hold us over until then...hopefully.

Yeah, I got this the other day. Slow boats, and all that...

So far sofa, I like it. That first track is a stunner - The Eraser! Woof! What a song!

Anyway, I'll come back when I've heard it a few more times. Good shit, though.
