Thom Yorke - The Eraser

Started by §P0oONY5 pages

I wish to discuss... but this isn't a discussion, this is one person who really doesn't care that much about the subject being cornered by one who would crack one out over his own family because music in it's essence makes him so horny.

Yes, he'll still annoy me but Radiohead's music is unbelievably good, so I won't mind.

OK, but how exactly does he annoy you? Does he make inappropriate jokes when he comes round to borrow a cup of brown sugar? Does he always have cornflakes stuck to his moustache? Does he fart at inopportune moments? Does he strangle baby goats at the dead of night, thus waking everyone up?

Please elaborate as I'm genuinely interested.

Stop hating Thom Yorke already...though he could buy himself a real first name. tom for example.

His name is prounced like 'thumb' but with a short o vowel rather than a u, right? I think that's cool.

Why is it you simply "Don't care" and I'm "horny"? I just know more.

You know more because you care more. Plus you are just generally know more about most things than me... If it were a Maths discussion though... I'd crush you... 😛

Unless of course you're awesome when it comes to that as well.... Then I'll allow myself to become your full-time *****...

Well, as you may know he's a bit of a recluse. He doesn't really like the whole sucking up to fans and what not. Well my sister didn't even know who he was, as she's never been a fan of Radiohead. So she went to introduce herself to her neighbours in the regular, polite way and apparently (I don't know the whole dialogue) but he was just very rude and brash.

Westside to all you people who be keeping it real.

i believe it's just pronounced "tom", much like "geoff" is still "jeff".

and i'd hate to say, but i thought the eraser was minimal to the point of boring.

You're wrong on both counts; 'Thom' is prounouced [Th-o-m], and 'Geoff' is prounounced [Ge-o-ff]. Yeah, the 'ge' is a soft g sound much like the 'ge' in orange. I thought everyone knew this? Weird...

kid a is a bloody excellent album. FACT. the eraser is just morbid runoff. and i'm not english, but my two geoff experience are geoffry the giraffe (you know...the toys r us mascot), and he was pronounced "jeff". as is geoff rowley, famed machine of desctruction.

and i've seen several interviews with thom, it's pretty universal they refer to him as "tom".

That's because his name is pronounced Tom.

The Eraser is excellent (Just to reiterate).
