But I have.

And how would you?

THat's for me to know and for you to find out.

Or for you to think you know and actually know nothing at all and for to have nothing to find out.

I have to print that out and read it a couple of times.

Let me know when you are good.

Well, I liked the OT better than the PT. The ones I enjoyed the most were (from most enjoyable to least) The Empire Strikes Back, The Return of the Jedi, and A New Hope.

There were more than those three in the OT then?

No, I meant from the six.

mine are the same except the order. My order goes
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith.

II > V > VI

II????? II?????????????? II is the worst of all six.

No, VI is by far the rock bottom worst. TPM was even an improvement over THAT. II is the best, it has the best of all Star Wars worlds: action, retarded romance, epic scenery, adventure, music, and it told us a ****ing lot about the universe, just like ESB did. (I have a thing for the #2s of trilogies...AOTC, ESB, Two Towers, etc.)

VI has good scenes between Luke, Vader and the Emperor. It's VI's saving grace.

II has the action, beautiful pictures and adventure, but the story is badly told, completely obsolete and fails miserably at the only vital plot point that should propel the story forward: the love story between Anakin and PAdme.... Since pretty pictures don't make a good film, II is a major PHAIL!

No, it didn't save anything. Those scenes are the only reason I wathc the film. It seriosuly could have been just those scenes...or just the opening crawl:

STAR WARS EPISODE VI
RETURN OF THE JEDI

Luke gets captured. Anakin redeems himself and restores balance to the force.

THE END

II's story is not obsolete. There are a LOT of ****ing plot points that move ti forward. Its not much more of a love story thant ESB is with Han and Leia. Lucas just didn't really engineer the love part around Anakin's character, how he would have done it. He tried to make it too romantic, which is something Star Wars has never been about.

And...pretty pictures do make a good film, least they do for me, which is why I'm not a movie buff. Most of movies for me are the sensory experience...the sights and sounds. If those are off they charts, ast ehy are in Star Wars, I'm sold. But the truely great films I like have the other stuff too. No one can claim that ANY of the SW movies are well written, have good plots or solid characters (saver perhaps Star Wars).

ESB is generally accepted by fans, movie lover and critics alike as one excellent film. Not just a good SW film.

II last nearly 2 hours and 20 minutes. It has two plot points that sets up III: a Clone army is in amaking and Anakin falls in love. The love story sucks, so that is PHAIL no. 1. The other is the Clone Army, which could have been done away with with just a simple statement.
But nooo... we get this whole lame detective story that apparantly leads to a traitor in the midst of the Jedi: Syfo Dyas... Now, we never find out who this guys is, so it's irrelevant. PHAIL no.2 - GL didn't even make the CLone Army plot point interesting.

Kenobi and Anakin bicker like they hate each other's guts, while they're supposed to be friends. Anakin is an unsympathetic, arrogant and whiny brat, so we don't even have a hero to cheer for. Dooku is the only interesting character but we hardly see enough of him to understand his relevance to the story.
And then there is a lot of fighting. Granted, I think II has the best battle of all SW films. But contentwise it sucks big wet balls.

Great. Shove it up your fat ass then. I don't care and I don't feel like debating every point with you.

There are problems indeed, you have listed some of mine. All the Star Wars movies have problems, its no different than the rest. Lucas is a retarded director. We've established that. You're also unfairly judging the film and i'm currently not willing to write a thesis to explain it to you.

Honestly, I love all six.

1. Cease that kind of insulting language. It was a civilised debate. There's no reason to start insulting.

2. I disagree with you on how to judge this movie. No need to get angry. I hand in my points why I thing it's the most inferior movie in the lot of them. You are allowed to disagree. And you don't have to write a thesis, but you can explain your point without getting so mad.
