I would but only because Dayne is just wasting space and Portis will still be a force when he comes back. Hassleback is sweet, but with the Portis upgrade, downgrading to Brad Johnson doesn't seem so bad.

I dunno...my league is funny. Everyone seems to be in the same boat with SOME position, except for the guy who wins every year. He has:

why do you use a teams QB and not the player? Hasselebck will be in seattle for many years so i wouldnt want to give him up but theres some guys you could get cheaper, and dayne is worthless and portis is and will be a beast so id say do it.

A guy you may be able to grab right now is Lundy on the Texans.

Does anyone think/believe Kevin Curtis, WR STL will amount to anything this year? He did very well subbing in for an injured Isaac Bruce last year, but I'm wondering if Isaac stays healthy, Mr. Curtis won't be able to make a contribution. Any thoughts? I picked him up as the last pick in my draft....why I'm asking. They say you're only as strong as your weakest player, and he's my weakest player at my weakest position. 🙁

Curtis always did ok as the #3 guy there, and Bruce wont be healthy all year Curtis will definitely see an inreased roll. However this isnt the greatest show on turf anymore either. THey are really commited to the run.. Curtis could be worth a start against some weaker teams like the 49's and such but its hard to say right now. I have seen Curtis go before bruce in 1 draft.. hes often taken right after bruce.

I honestly think Skeets is messing with me at this point. I have confirmation from him (yesterday) of an imminent counter-offer (or acceptance of my offer)....then nothing. And this after other attempts.

Hmm ideas to get another RB...hmmm.

Hell, I got Frank Gore sitting on the bench right now if you're looking Smas (Ahman Green too). And Westbrook is my #2, who I'd consider moving for, say, a #2 WR or a stud TE or something similar.

I'd need a starting WR or something for Gore though (maybe a #2-or-3-level WR) since I honestly think Gore's going to have a breakout season. I'd probably take just a decent backup for Green, but both have a chance to post solid points.

P.S. Sorry botankus, but I'm assuming Skeets is cool with keeping LJ, so I've stopped trying. Thanks for bargaining with me though, and if it ever happens down the line maybe I'll try again. 🙂
