And you assume that a 12 year old is mature enough to make the decision on having sex with a 40 year old. Where do you draw the line? Why not let a 7 year old have sex with a 30 year old if she/he says they know what they are doing? Why not let a 12 year old vote or a 13 year old drive a car if they say they are mature enough and ready?
