No im sorry it doesnt work like that im afraid. The guy can lift 65 tons even he weighs 1100 lbs that means he cant use his muscles to deflect the shield? Hell it hit him in his abs he should be able to use his stomache muscles to deflect the shield.

Alright, Alf. You've got to make a decision now.

Can super-strong opponents merely brush off Cap's attacks because of their super strength (and thus, super durability)?

Or do their size and weight ever come into play, regardless of power?

Because given what you just said there, I could argue that Spider-Man could use his 20+ ton strength muscles to deflect the shield as well.

See where I'm going with this?

Yeah I do. This is the point im trying to make Caps skill can bypass the super strength....the fact of the matter is that in real world physics it should deflect the shield.....but this is a comic book.

For crying out loud even if it was just his weight why the hell did it hurt? Even if you agree that he cant use his strength to deflect the shield his calss 65 strength should reflect in terms of durability and he should have got knocked to the ground and not felt a thing. Again he can lift 65 tons but hes getting hurt by an object thorwn by somebody with class 1 strength. Therefore through skill Cap can replicate that strength level in terms of force and damage with the shield but not in lifing objects.

Furthermore why is it when Exceutioner gets hit by somebody like Thor and doesnt go flying people dont use the its his weight argument then...Maybe it because if you have superhuman strength you can use it to stop being dropped on your back.

And I agree with you, so don't get your panties in a twist.

And because of that, it kind of negates the whole usage of that feat in the first place then. Becuase Cap can make up for his lack of strength agianst bricks (even though I think it's a bit PIS that he was able to hurt Skurge like that 😬), then it's really not that impressive. Know what I mean?

And I never denied that a strong shield throw would greatly damage Spidey IF it ever made solid contact. However, several Spidey-blows will put Cap down.

I hate to go this route, but...

Bullets put down Captain America. Spider-Man hits exponentially harder than said bullets.

Cap has been shot in the head before and survived, we dont know who shot Cap, considering he was wearing bullet resistant kavlar and he is enhanced human unless it was armour piercing its PIS that he got killed.

bullets have point edges thats different to blunt force trauma. cap should be able to take at least several full force punches from Spiderman.

i win

Captain America will never last against Spiderman in a wellwrittem fight.

Strenght:
Spiderman>>>>>>>>>>>>>Captain America
Speed:
Spiderman>>>>Captain America
Reflexes/Agility:
Spiderman>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Captain America

Also, Peter Parker is taller than Steve Rogers😄

And it surprises me this debate have lasted so long... CAP CANT WIN THIS FIGHT!

You're right about everything except for one part.

Cap is actually taller than Spidey. 6'2" > 5'10".

Other than that VERY slight height advantage, you're right on the money with everything. 👆

Oh, sorry about the heightthing😄 Confused Caps height with Peters😄
Well, yeah, lot of Cap-fanboys in here since this debate still runs😄

Strength:
Spiderman >>>>>>>>>>> Captain America

Speed, reflexes:
Spiderman> Captain America

Agility:
Spiderman >>>> Captain America

Skills:
Captain America>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Spider-man

Experience:

Captain America >>>>>>>> Spiderman

Soljer, skills and experience doesnt matter when you are fighting a opponent 15 times stronger than yourself. Spiderman is more agile, too.

If we was too fight, and i was 15 times as strong as you, but you was much more skilled and experienced than me, would you win? HELL NO, as nearly everyone who knows how to punch can win if they are that much stronger

Not quite true when considering comic books.

Cap's fought opponents that were, literally, THOUSANDS of times stronger, and still came out on top.

You're thinking too real-world. You gotta think comic book skills.

Soljer, in comic books, Cap would maybe win in Comics. But because of the rules on this forum, the fights go by logic, thats why Cap cant win this.

Last I checked there is nothing wrong with logic saying that skill can keep up with power.

Even in real life that has been shown.

In real life, you dont fight opponents which superhuman reflexes and 15 times your own strenght

Agreed and in real life you don't fight someone with skills that can pressure-point you just by tapping you on the forehead and leave you paralyzed, or anticipate and counter speedsters with skill, or roll with energy beams. Or use a weapon to the point that it can chop helicopters back ends in half. Or use advanced martial art strikes that go through metal.

I kinda asked for that myself... But do you think Cap can avoid a punch from Spiderman? Spiderman only needs to disarm Cap, and then punch right through him with superior speed and power

Yes I believe Cap can avoid a punch from Spiderman. For how long not sure, Spiderman can indeed tag Cap thats for sure.

Punch through him considering Cap has taken some nasty explosions and high falls I don't know about that. And with Cap's ability to roll with blows instinctively. It would be difficult.

By the rules there fighting at there best but remaining in character.

It is assumed that each contestant will fight to his/her best ability, but still within the character's personality

So that means Spidey is going for the KO and not death. And Cap wont be trying for decapitation.

While in character I give Cap 6/10-considering there fights in the past.

True blood lust out of character Spiderman 7/10

If they holds back, you will never find out who is truely best. If they holds back, Spidey only wins 6/10. If they fights all out, Spidey 9/10.

You know what I don't understand?

Why doesn't Spider-Man just literally take the shield away from Cap? I mean, he's EASILY able to do so.

Cap swins the shield, Spidey grabs it (superior speed, strength, and reflexes) and yanks it off his arm. Shield gone.

Or. Cap throws the shield. And, well, Spidey grabs it out of mid-air, pretty much better than the way Beast did it. It can't be that hard for stronger, faster opponents to do so. I'm kind of surprised they don't do it more often.

Beast did it and Puma caught it as Punisher blocked it. But I really doubt Cap did his shield throw that would put it through them as he did too girders, thick steel doors, engines, helicopters etc etc. He holds back even against low-superhumans.

Heck Cap is a guy who argued with himself in decapitating Baron Blood. This is the same Blood who one shotted Namor in WW2 and defeated Namor and the entire invaders at one time.
