Everything in the scriptures requires interpretation. No one takes everything in the Bible in the exact same literal manner. You pick and choose, deciding how to best interpret and implement what you read based upon your beliefs, prejudices, and cultural context.

Indeed. Which is why the tactic of "I believe the bible is right ergo everyone who doesn't is wrong" is so dodgy. There is even a lack of concensious amongst Christians themselves.

But rather let even that open their eyes it leads to "well obviously they aren't really Christians, if they were they wouldn't disagree with my correct view."

And as I said - I don't know why the claims of the Bible should be more valid then other holy texts just because one says "But I am the true holy text."

Yes. Leading to multiple literal interpretations, each just as dangerous as the next.
