His first post directed at Lil was clearly said in sarcastic manner designed to aggravate her, and it contributed to the situation.
It's taking the piss to pretend it was innocent and civil. It was a trolling mindset and it is the sort of thing that should be avoided.

Sorry, you are wrong. AC worded it specifically to bait Lil. Even though he changed his original wording, that still revealed the intent behind it, and this sentence:
"Perhaps tell us who or where you've gathered this vast amount of knowledge from. I'm sure it's not another one of your cultural, monthly fads, I'm sure."
Was of similar mindset.
All he had to do was just ask where she got it from. The superior attitude and sarcastic tone of that sentence was designed to aggrvate Lil.
Things got out of control here, but would not have done if AC had not worded it in such a way, which he did intentionally. He then plays innocent afterwards- schoolboy tactics both. He knew full well he was going to get a rise out of Lil.

Fair enough, can we have a speech about the misbehaviour of others as well (especially lil b) or is it just going to be an attack on AC (since that what this is, as serious and unbiased as you like it to seem).
It's not serious, no-one is being warned or banned, but I am making a point that it is the kind of thing that should be avoided, and as he is also complicit in the situation, asking for an apology is not relevant unless it is mutual.
If it seems like it is an attack on only AC, then that is well, seeing as the balance of this thread in recent pages has been the opposite. He is just as complicit so he deserves heat as well.

And furthermore, I edited my original post BECAUSE I knew it would seem more disrespectful than it was worth, and I knew who I was dealing with would make a deal out of it anyway.

Don't take the piss. AC was playing innocent and everyone was blaming Lil. I came in to point out that AC was just as guility. If you reported that, damn right it would be ignored; it would be abuse of the reporting system.

She apologised to Trickster for making the exact same assumption about him as she did to me, she could have simply said "I won't apologise." and, while I disagree, at least it was civil. She chose to reply rudely and hypocritically.
I didn't deliberately annoy her, she got annoyed deliberately, as she always does, without fail, when I post to her. I've posted in threads in a way that is nothing BUT on-topic and she's still done it, and people have seen it.

I am arguing with you, because you are coming in this thread claiming things making it the topic of the current conversation. If you think that justifies a ban go ahead. I would be perfectly fine talking about "opposite" as I did before. You were the one starting the current Off-Topicness by entering a thread without a minimal bit of Topicness.
