Back in Port Royal a ship has docked with a courier from the King. It seems the Letters of Marque were only to go to Jack Sparrow since Jack was the beloved grandson of his old friend and confidant Lord John Christian Smith 3rd Earl of Bath (also Jack's real name and his father's name who is going by Grant Sparrow). Norrington sent a letter to the King to inform him of Lord Becket's betrayal to the King in hopes of becoming Governor of Port Royal and cementing his position with Elizabeth. The King has ordered Lord Beckett to be hanged for treason.
A ship has been dispatched to find Lord Beckett and hang him from the yard arm of whatever ship he is sailing.
Grant Sparrow thinks if he rescues Jack that Lord Smith will quit the disinheritance, but Hector Barbosa has to be dealt with first.
It's hard for me to write a continuous theme on here...cuz my thoughts are a little different from ya'll's ...the story wouldn't flow...
But I shall try....this is a bit different then what you guys have written..I could call this an "alternate scene"....I don't like that Norrington kills gov. Swann..Beckett does...so Norrington is feeling bad about it...but still wants to stay on the good side of Lord Beckett and the EITC...so...they have Elizabeth and Jack in their possession (Will has betrayed Jack and Liz to Lord Beckett and Norrington)...has ....However, Will is also feeling bad and starting to have remorse over this...Gibbs and the rest of the crew are still on the Pearl, along with Bootstrap and Grant Sparrow...okay,,,sooo
Norrington approaches Elizabeth, who is wrapped in a blanket and sipping on warm cider...
Norrington: Elizabeth, I hate that it has come to this...but I made a pledge to rid the world of pirates...and I must fullfill that promise.
Liz: But, you have been around Jack...you know he is a good man...you cannot be this cruel, James Norrington. I hate you, for siding with that dispicable creature, Lord Beckett...he killed my father...I thought you were my father's friend...he made you Commodore, he thought of you as a son.
Norrington: I know. I hated what happened to your father. Elizabeth...it has become obvious to me that you have developed deep feelings for Sparrow....I have a proposition for you...one that could save his life...
Liz: (her head snaps up, as she had been staring downward) A proposition...name it. I'd do anything to save Jack.
Norrington: Lord Beckett has decided that due to all my efforts and loyalty...that he will appoint me as the new governor of Port Royal...As governor, it would seem fitting that I have a wife. Elizabeth. If you will agree to become my wife...I will see that Jack Sparrow is allowed to go free and rejoin his crew and his beloved Black Pearl.
Liz: So, if I agree to be your wife...you will let Jack live?
Norrington: Yes, I will see to it that he is safely delivered to Mr. Gibbs.
Liz: What about Will?
Norrington: Oh, I think Mr. Turner will also agree to these terms... See he loves you...but his hatred of Jack Sparrow runs deeper. I will see to it that Will Turner is also kept safe.
Liz: Then I will accept your proposal, James Norrington.
Cuts to Jail....it's in the middle of the night...Jack is sleeping but is awaken by a loud noise.
Norrington: Sparrow, wake up.
Jack: What. Couldn't wait till daylight, mate...am i to hang from the gallows by moonlight...
Norrington: No, be quiet...I am here to spring you from here.
Jack: Really...and why would you be doing that?
Norrington: Let's just say a trade was made in exchange for your freedom. You will be delivered by Murdock, here, to your precious Black Pearl.
Jack: Why? Where's Elizabeth?
Norrington: Don't worry about Elizabeth...she is no longer your concern..and do not address my future wife with such familiarity..
Jack : Your future wife?
Norrington: Yes, I believe congradulions are in order on your part...Miss Swann has agreed to become my wife. I am to be named the new Governor of Port Royal.
Jack: I don't believe you. Elizabeth would never agree to be your wife...
Norrington: She would. To get what she wants most in this world...freedom...to be able to live...as my wife...her life is spared and so is yours...you see
So Murdock begins to escort Jack from the jail...will is following in the shadows....
Will sneaks and finds Liz in her room, he covers her mouth as warns her to keep quiet
Will: Elizabeth...I saw Norrington and Murdock helping Jack to escape. What is this all about..I heard your name mentioned.
Elizabeth: I have agreed to marry Norrington, in exchange for Jack's freedom...
Will: You love him that much.. What about us.
Elizabeth: Will, there is no us anymore....and Yes, I love him that much. I want him to be free. As long as I know Jack can live and be free, then I will be happy.
Will: Elizabeth....I am deeply sorry for what I have done to you and Jack. My father tried to warn me where my jealously was leading me, but I didn't listen.
Elizabeth: I know. I am sorry too, Will. I didn't want to love Jack... I tried so hard to fight what I felt for him. I wanted to keep loving you. I do love you Will. But my love for Jack is different. I will always love you, Will. You were my first love. But...
Will: I know. I understand Elizabeth. Since I got you into this mess...I will try to get you out of it.
Liz: (tears streaming down her face) Oh Will.
Will: And I will reunite you with Jack, if that is what you want... My father's words have been haunting me...I do not want to end up like Davy Jones. My heart is breaking...but I want to live.
Liz and Will hug....
Cut to Murdock delivering Jack to the Pearl..
Mr. Gibbs: Jack! How did you escape.
Jack: A trade was made. No time to waste...We must return to Port Royal and rescue Elizabeth and Will from the hands of Beckett and Norrington...Will has no idea what he has gotten himself into. I don't know how that boy ever survived before he knew me....I am always having to rescue him from of his stupid, bloody mistakes.
Gibbs: Do you have a plan Captain?
okay that's all i can write for now...does anyone else want to contribute to this alternate ending (meaning Norrington is still alive and Cutler Beckett killed Gov. Swann)
See this is all so confusing...cuz in one of the scenes earlier, Norrington has delieverd the heart back to Liz, jack and the rest of the gang...only Elizabeth kills him with a sword for killing her father...so in my version...Lord Beckett and Norrington still have the heart.....Norrington has freed Sparrow, Elizabeth has agreed to become Norrington's wife as the first lady of Port Royal and Will is feeling very remorseful...
I have a lot of different scenes in my mind...I fall asleep thinking about these different scenes and it changes from night to night....this was just one of my takes....
cuz see, Jack returns to Port Royal and decides to give himself up and tells them to let Elizabeth and Will to go free...he tells Will to take care of Elizabeth and that she should make her life with Will....he is not the man for her..but he can't let her marry Norrington in exchange for his freedom...he'd rather die and see her with Will, then have her marry Norrington..... So now, something else must happen in order to free jack before Beckett and Norrington get rid of him....they still have Davy Jones' heart...I get stuck right here...I know how I want the end to go...but not sure how to get to it...Jack is trying to convice Liz that he is not in love with her...so that she can turn to Will and not live in misery thinking about him and what could have been...it's a love sacrifice on Jack's part ( but remember I want Jack and Liz to end up together...and Will be happy too...)

Back at the ocean, Tia, Bill and Liz have arrived at the pearl and the rest of the pirate ships. Tia speaks a few words over the pearl, and then they all catch site of the EITC ships, all looming on the horizon.
Liz: Here they come...
Bill: I have a bad feeling about this...
Meanwhile, back upstairs in Tia's hut:
Will: I hate waiting.
Jack: Get used to it mate. We're stuck here.
Will: At least until the plan starts.
Jack: I hope this plan of yours isn't as stupid as some of your last plans.
Will: It was ELizabeth's idea.
Jack: Oh! No worries then.
Will: I just hope she doesn't put herself in uneccesary danger... Oh, and Jack... I suppose Elizabeth forgot to tell you. You'll have a small part to play in this plan.
Meanwhile, back at the ships...
Grant, Bootstrap and ELizabeth suddenly spring into action. Now that the Pearl is protected by Tia's spell, they spring aboard, dragging Tia with them. Since she cannot work against her own magic, she is powerless to save herself. Elizabeth quickly chains her to the mast and holds a sword to her throat.
As expected, Davy Jones appears almost instantly. Grant and Bill take over the "guarding Tia" post, while Elizabeth walks steadily to meet Davy Jones.
Davy: We meet again.
Liz: Yes, and this time we actually have some bargaining power. On this ship is Tia Dalma, your true love, as well as your heart.
Elizabeth pulls out Tia's locket and swings it in front of Davy's face. As expected Jones reaches out in anger and snatches it from Elizabeth, knocking her to the ground in the process. She staggers to her feet.
Liz: Grant! Jack's free! Jones broke Tia's bargain.
Grant: So far so good...
Tia: Davy!
Liz: Not another step Jones, or she dies.
Jones: WHat do you want?
Liz: Command the kraken during the battle to fight for us. If we win, you will be reunited with HER.
Jones: Done.
Meanwhile, back at Tia's.
Will: You should be free by now, if all went to plan.
Jack: Only one way to find out mate.
Jack punches out the window and leaps out, and then picks himself up at the bottom.
Jack: Yep! It worked. I'm out of her hut and I'm not dead.
Will: Let's get going then...
yeah, it's better that you(KLP) and willofthewisp write it because you're on the same wavelength. don't get me wrong, i love your version lovethemtigers, but im so confused now.....too many names and events and places and ships.....🤪
and i have to say, tia dalma was lucky to have two of the hottest guys held in her cabin. luckybutt. but then they escape. muahaha.

no no!! i love your story too!! if you had started from the very beginning and kept the story going it would be great.....maybe you should make your own thread so you can put up your version 😊 cuz i really like yours too. there's a lot of dialogue and i like dialogue. but since your version has the heart in posession of someone else, it doesn't work with KLP's version with the whole plan and trading/bargaining and stuff.
Wow. Sorry I was gone so long. This is all really cool. And Lovethemtigers, nothing is stopping anyone from making another "sequel." This is just our idea of the next movie. You can write your own and I for one would love to read it.

Jack: Well, mate, he doesn't exactly have anything going for him if he refuses, does he? It all boils down to what he can do and what he can't do.

A tentacle sweeps over them but passes them by, as if they are rowing next to a giant squid.
Will: There it is!
Jack: Follow the beastie. Stroke, stroke, stroke!
Meanwhile, back on the Pearl,
Gibbs: Man your stations! Prepare your weapons.
Liz: Do the cannons work, Mr. Gibbs?
Gibbs: Way ahead of you, young lass. They're fully loaded (gleam in his eye)
Liz: What should happen if we lose?
Gibbs: We rope a couple of sea turtles (happy to see Liz laugh) Aye, you're a pirate if ever I've seen one
(Liz looks at him as if she's found a surrogate father, but the moment is ruined by cannon fire)
Gibbs: Fire! Fire!
The pirates swing across onto the attacking ships with Barbosa and Beckett aboard. Knives in their mouths, swords and guns in their hands, they quickly dominate a gory battle.
Jack: Hop up now
(Will climbs up the Pearl first)
Will: I have to end what I started. (Swings across and scouts out Beckett)
Liz: Will!
(Will does not hear her, for he's spotted Beckett. He chases him down and is surprised to see Beckett has some skill with a blade)
Beckett: You don't really think you'll win, do you?
Will: The devil always loses, Beckett
(they fight and Beckett's sword comes close to Will's chest)
Beckett: Say goodbye, Mr. Turner
(Will springs up and drives his sword into the manipulative short man)
Will: Goodbye
The Kracken's tentacles crash above the waves, knocking the supporting ships into jetsom. Barbosa escapes and mounts the Pearl. It is time for the final showdown between Jack and Barbosa.

(They fight up in the crow's nest, the Kracken's tentacles knocking against the sails. Everyone else is just finishing off their enemies)
Liz: Will! You killed Beckett!
Will: Can you forgive me for everything?
Liz: If you forgive me for everything. (they hold one another, realizing their true relationship as faithful friends)
(Up above, Jack has pinned Barbosa to the top of the mast. He's fighting to free himself)
Barbosa: You won't live forever, Jack! You'll die from all this and the Pearl will be mine again! (still trying to free himself. Jack doesn't give him a second, however, pulls out his pistol and fires)
Jack: This is the second time I've had to shoot you. (blood oozes out of Barbosa. there is no resurrecting him this time)
(Jack swings down onto the deck)
Jack: Mr. Gibbs
Gibbs: Yes, sir? (proudly)

It is later into the night. Davy, Tia, and the Kracken seem to have disappeared. Jack is in his cabin, fresh wounds visible on his body. His cabin, strangely, is in one piece. He hears footsteps behind him. But he doesn't have to turn around
Jack: You better have nothing on.
Liz: I thought you said a dress or nothing.
Jack: Love, I may be a bit taken with you, but I'm not stupid. You've been in the same britches for how long now?
Liz: That's why they're off.
(it's dark so the audience can't really see her, come on! This is Disney)
Jack (turning to face her): Do you know, this was the lovely image I had being swallowed up by the most feared creature in the entire ocean? (eyes her in a Jack kind of way) Can't say it does me vision justice.
(Liz slaps him)
Jack: I might have deserved that. Maybe you ought to come a little closer
(Liz slinks closer to him and puts her arms around him)
Liz: I'd be willing to bet your vision did not supply the sense of touch? (kisses him. She backs him into the wall, similar to backing him into the mast. He lets her dominate. One could say he was waiting for the opportune moment)
Jack: Suppose I ought to take a few things off meself...unless you want to get me drunk or persuade me yourself? (grins playfully)
Liz: Off (takes his gun from his table and points it at him. With only the little bit of light we see, we can tell he's taken off a few articles) Now the rest of it.
Jack: Now....(swaggers near her) put that thing away and show me I'm what you want the most.
Liz: If you'll show me I'm what you want the most.
(Jack doesn't say anything. Does he really have to? 😖hifty: )
