Take your time Shaky. I am looking for an all out honest answer from you. *smiles* I posted the question so that we can take a step back here and learn a bit about where each other is at. That way I can talk to you without using just Faith or the Bible. Like I said, simplicity for me is the best way to try to understand another person. Expecially when we are of opposite Religious beliefs. You take your time, I will pop in now and again and see if you have posted an answer. I do look forward to your answer. I know the answer from my end here. You will know my answer as well, no? *laughs*Your answer may be different though. *smiles* I'm sure it will be.

We can only experience the word in a limited way. There are many things we cannot perceive. Right now as you sit in frond of your computer, you are being washed with radio ways, coming from nearby radio stations. This is true, because you can turn on your radio and hear the results of the radio waves. However, you cannot see them. Most of the universe is beyond our comprehension. The reality that you live is all inside of your body, more precisely, in your brain.
People can be fooled. Magicians do it all the time. They take advantage of a simple fact; our perceptions are fallible. There are many eyewitness accounts of the same event that contradict each other. How many eyewitnesses are there, that saw the assassination of JFK? However, there are numerous accounts of the day that do not jive with each other. That is why the event is shrouded in conspiracy even today.
The mind creates our world. Did you know that each and everyone of us have a blind spot right in the middle of our vision? It is the location where the optic nerve connects to the Retina. It is called Optic Disk; Here is a site for reference; http://www.99main.com/~charlief/Blindness.htm#od.
The brain fills in the gap so that our vision will not seem interrupted. The brain has been shown to have the ability to create things that are not there. This is what happens when someone takes a hallucinogenic drug. When a person is on LSD, they do not create the things they see in the real world, the mind creates and alters the perceptions. But you do not have to take drugs to have hallucinations. Oxygen deprivation can cause disorientation and hallucinations.
So, because we do not perceive everything, and can be wrong, or even be creating it ourselves, I would have to side with the argument that people, who have NDE, are suffering from oxygen deprivation and hallucinating. But I don’t think it is that simple. I believe that we are all connected; all life is connected.
