The Thing's insides are not composed as the same rock like material as his hide. His body functions like a normal human and he has all the same organs... it would be odd if he didn't have an eardrum membrane.

Ummm i think youre incorrect there ! I mean if his mucscles are only composed of traditional muscle protiens he wouldn't nearly be as strong as he is. The same goes for his 'bones'.

Even if the Thing Knocks him out (Which is plausible, considering Namor who is in a similar strength division did it recently), he will be unable to kill him. Quite simply, the Thing is class eighty ish. He's actually had trouble with a sixty ton Iron Man robot.
Namor lifts thousands of tons regularly.

You obviously haven't read any of Mark Waids run on the Fantastic Four, where Things lifts a multi storey building weighing literally thousands of tons. Handbooks talk Bull shit, my friend.
