Liz: All right. We're both pirates. Perhaps its impossible... trying to work this out.
Jack: Thats not the Lizzie i know. You're stronger than that.
Liz: No, Jack. I'm not. I've given all my strength to you...
Jack suddenly slumps back. He gets on his knees in front of Elizabeth and kisses her hands, slowly.
Jack: Beloved, its up to you. I'll be waiting for you.
With that, he turns and walks out the door. Elizabeth looks after him, tormented.
Outside Dumas handcuffs Jack and puts him in his own ship. The crew watches, unable to do anything.
Hours later Elizabeth emerges from the cabin, her face set.
Liz: Crew, we have a new heading. It's time to find Davy Jones.

Kate, someday you're going to have to tell me what you're thinking. So Liz has been spying on Jack? And Kate has been working secretly for Dumas who knows Jack was planning on doing something secret to Port Royal but really has a plan? Grr, you and your twists.
Will: In due time, Elizabeth. We have someone to take care of first (grabs Kate from behind and puts a knife to her throat)
Liz: For Heaven's sake Will, we don't have time for this.
Will: Why? You said you never spied on me but on Dumas, and that turned out to be a lie.
Kate: Please, sir! I still was loyal to you! I would never have done anything to hurt you or your friends.
Will: It's your fault Dumas even knew where to find us.
Kate: Please! Let me explain. (Will lets her go, everyone is stunned)
Kate: I sailed only once with Jack Sparrow, Captain, I'm sorry, and it was around the time he left his posiition with the EITC to be a pirate. I needed a passage to the Caribbean to seek my fortune. Obviously, sailing with the man is a chore, but we were almost caught by Beckett when he was alive. I was caught and branded and served in prison. Then Mr. Dumas came in and said I was just the kind of lady he was looking for. You had just been named Governor and he was looking for a deputy spot as part of his plan.
Will: So both of you were teamed up against me?
Kate: He told me he wanted to be governor of Port Royal and that you had had dealings with Jack. If I worked as a maid in your house and found any proof, well, that was my job. I didn't know he hired those pirates to get the vial from you.
Will: This is about the vial?
Kate: Yes. Once he heard about it, he saw the opportunity to take it for himself. The night you left, when the intruders came, I had no idea what they were there for until they mentioned retrieving the bottle. They're voodoo pirates who are working for Dumas.
Abigail: You knew who they were all along?
Kate: Only guessed. I didn't figure on you coming along with me.

and as far as the "beloved" line... i meant it to be out of character. i think that's what is so brilliant about johnny's acting: he can take a line that doesn't sound like Jack at all, and make it quintessentially Jack, and those always turn out to be the best. i could just picture him saying it right there, thats all.
Cut back to Jack and Dumas, who are nearing Port Royal. Jack is tied hand and foot, but he doesn't seem to mind. He's enjoying the breeze on the deck of the ship, while Dumas paces around.
Jack: Mate, why are women so hard to please?
Dumas: I find it rather funny that the infamous Jack Sparrow, a known ladies man, is asking me for advice on women.
Jack: Yes its true... with one type of lady I always get what I want. But when it comes to Elizabeth... me head starts caving in.
Dumas: Truly? Where do you find you two have the most trouble?
Jack: (scratching his chin and thinking) Hmmm... jealousy. We're both obsessively possessive of each other. I can't bear it when another man looks at her. And she loses her mind when I do a bit of flirting.
Dumas: Why is that, do you think? Has she any reason not to trust you?
Jack: Well, no. But she thinks she does. Savvy?
Dumas: (shaking his head sadly) i suppose thats hard for her when you are both known criminals.
Jack: Actually, sometimes I wonder if that isn't the only thing holding us together...
Dumas: Do you love her?
Jack: Obviously, mate!
Dumas: Do you love her enough to send her flowers, or let her win an argument, or serenade her by moonlight?
Jack: (scoffing) You "society people" and your ideas of love! Pirates love differently, I suppose. I've risked me life and me limbs for her often enough, and will continue to, if she'll let me.
Dumas: I'd always heard you weren't the kind to risk much for another person.
Jack: I'm not. With her, I can't seem to help it.
Cut back to the Pearl, where the moment of tension is still holding.
Will: (finally drawing back) I don't trust you as far as tomorrow, you guttersnipe, but I suppose for the time being I can let you live.
Kate: (sarcastically) well thank you for that, sir.
Liz: Kate, don't bother about him. We're all pirates here. Sooner or later everyone has to do something questionable to survive.
Will: So Elizabeth, what's your plan? Chase down Davy Jones?
Liz: Yes... he's mortal now, he's got his heart in him, and he has no Tia to resurrect him. Shouldn't be too hard.
Will: (shaking his head) Why are we always risking ourselves to save Jack?
Liz: I know why I am... do you love him too? (she giggles, and Will roles his eyes)
Abi: Is this how your adventures normally go?
Liz, Will, and Gibbs all look at each other and shrug.
Gibbs: More or less. Though usually there's quite a few more villians chasing after us.
Jackie suddenly comes up on deck.
Jackie: I couldn't help but hear your plan to find Davy and kill him. I'd like to offer a suggestion, if I may. I was Tia's slave for years, and she taught me something that might be of use.
Liz: Yes, go on.
Jackie: Once Davy Jones put the heart back, he became mortal, but he can only be killed by someone who has been resurrected by Tia. It was her way of protecting him, I suppose.
Will: But that means only Jack could kill him!
Abi: No... there is someone else.
Will: What? WHo?
Abi: Its just something Tia Dalma said to me... she said my father was alive.
Liz: She brought Norrington back? When? Why?
Abi: I don't know. She told me not to try and find him... I wouldn't even know where to begin looking.
Liz: I would. (she pulls out a compass)
Gibbs: Where did you get that?!
Liz: Where do you think?
Will: You and Jack steal from each other?
Liz: (grinning) only when necessary. (she opens the compass but it points in the direction of Port Royal, where Jack was taken) Oh blast. Is it broken again?
Abi: Let me see it. (she takes the compass, and it also points directly to Port Royal)
Will: Maybe that's actually where he is.
Gibbs: We have no choice but to try for it.
They set off, but it isn't long before terrible weather obstructs their way. The ocean seems to be boiling with waves. They are forced to make port in Tortuga.
Okay, I think it would be a good idea to start summarizing so people aren't lost. A few people said they were confused with the last story.
Basically Gov. Dumas is bad news and had Kate working for him against her will, Davy's mortal but still dangerous, and Norrington may actually be alive and Abi is going to find him because only Norrington or Jack are able to kill Davy Jones. Is that right, Kate?
Abi: What is this God-forsaken place?
Gibbs: Only the best town in the Caribbean! Tortuga. Jack, if you don't mind, I think I'll rustle us up some food, maybe mingle around for some information regarding Mr. Norrington.
Jack: Commodore for now, Mr. Gibbs. People don't like when their titles are left off. Take someone with you. Our crew seems to get smaller by the day now. Possibly the welp.
Gibbs: And leave you with all the women? Bad enough you got me used to them walkin' around on board starting with Ms. Elizabeth. I'm not letting you play the pimp, especially with the women here probably wantin' to see ya.
Jack: Take your pick, but leave Lizzie with me.
Gibbs: What say you, Ms. Abigail? Care to ask some of the locals about your dear old dad (says that last part sarcastically. They go off)
Abi: How did Jack get away from Dumas?
Gibbs: Jack has a way of escapin' most things. Even death itself.
Abi: Mr. Gibbs, did my father ever try to kill Jack?
Gibbs: Well, they was never friendly mates, lass.
Abi: Then... (trails off) Mr. Gibbs. Look. (Ahead of them, two Jamaican pirates are doing the same thing they're doing, prodding the Tortugans for information)
Gibbs: Try not to look at 'em, young miss. They'll know what Will and maybe Jack look like, but probably not the rest of us. Keep walking normal.
Jack sits alone inside the bar in Tortuga waiting for Gibbs and Abi to come back. Will is keeping watch on the front door, Kate on the back. Liz is walking around the bar asking questions. Jack is looking at her, looking quite vexed.
Jacky: Something wrong? (sits next to him)
Jack: Besides everyone putting themselves to good use but you?
Jacky: And what exactly are you up to here while everyone else is out?
Jack: Holding our table. Never thought we'd cross paths with ol' James Norrington again. This is interesting.
Jacky: Even more so, where's Father in all this?
Jack: He and old Bootstrap Bill went into business together at Port Royal where dear William can visit his father whenever he likes and our old man can visit me whenever I'm in town.
Jacky: And was it they whom matched you with that little beauty over yonder? (cocks her head at Liz)
Jack: That was me own doing (smirks at her) But it may not last.
Jacky: You're a Sparrow. You can do whatever you want.
Jack: That's clear thinking there. We have a bit of a trust issue going on, and I'm still not clear as to how it all began.
Jacky: Began? I can tell you! You're pirates. Pirates aren't known for their trust. Especially ones who sail out on the ocean (shivers)
Jack: What a yellow Sparrow you turned out to be. I don't hear you offering any suggestions between all that shivering.
Jacky: I might have one. (she raises an eyebrow at him and glares) You should marry her.
Okay, to backtrack real quick. Jack distracted Dumas long enough to untie himself and swim back to them (it wasn't that far) and now all of them are in Tortuga where Gibbs and Abi have just seen the pirates that have been on their tail.
Jack is about to reply to Jacky's suggestion when Gibbs and Abi show up.
Gibbs: Jack! Jack! We have to get moving
Jack: Find us some information, have ya?
Gibbs: No. The pirates are here.
Jacky: This whole place is pirates.
Gibbs: The pirates who want us, Ms. Sparrow.
Jacky: Greeeeat. Back to the Pearl?
Jack: Grab Will and Kate. It won't look as suspicious if we leave in small groups rather than all together.
Gibbs: Suppose we take Ms. Elizabeth in our group, Jack. They might be lookin' for both of you.
Jack: Very well. Oh, and Mr. Gibbs (has a fearful look) Don't keep to the code this time around.
Later on the Pearl:
Liz and Jack are in his cabin. Suddenly Liz runs out, Jack follows her.
Jack: Luv, why do you run away? Still angry?
Liz: Jack...I feel so...so sick.
Jack: To less rum?
Liz: (very pale in the face) I...I...(she falls in his arms)
Jack: (concerned) Liz! Lizzie!
Kate who has seen it runs to Jack. They bring Liz in his cabin.
Will who has seen this follows them.
Will: What have you done with her? What happened?
Jacky enters as well.
Jacky: If I may be so bold to say my expert opinion. I would say she could very probably be pregnant.
Jack/Will: Pregnant??? (Both stare at her)
Jacky: Yeah. Brother. Never heard of that? Women could get pregnant and you’re about to become a father. Oh, wonderful! Drinks all around!
Jack stares at her, then at Will and finally at Liz. Suddenly:
Jack: (shouts) Everyone out here!
They leave the cabin. Jacks stare through his window. While Liz comes around.
Liz: What...What happened?
Jack: (terrified) Nothing! Everything is fine.
Liz: Jack! What’s wrong?
Jacky who eavesdrop comes in.
Jacky: Ah, my brother was waiting for the opportuned moment. But that was it. He is so happy to become a father.
Liz: A father?? How?
Jacky: Believe me luv, you’re ...
Jack: (angry): If she is pregnant, she should know it on her own and not to be told by a person who thinks that this could be the only reason why she lost her consciousness. Savvy?
Jacky: If you’re afraid of becoming a father you should think about it before and not make yourself a father and then be a fearful coward because Liz is now going to be a mother and she’ll be a great mother, although she had no mother who raised her, aye?
Jacky leaves the cabin.
Liz: (confused): Oh, Sparrows!!!!!!
Liz: So, you are afraid?
Jack: No,no, luv. But I’ll miss our adventures, our fights and our discussions.
Liz: Why? You don’t believe that I’ll settle? I’m a pirate and the Pearl is my home and it will be the home of our child as well, if it’s true.
Jack: Well, very well. You know, luv, I could...in fact...perform...
Liz: You want to marry me? Only because I’m pregnant?
Jack: ...No...I want to marry you because I truly love you!
Liz: Fine....but it’s not the opportuned moment for that...first we must kill Davy.
Suddenly Norrinton enters...
Jack: Where the hell did you come from?
Norri: Oh, I just met my wonderful daughter...isn’t she beautiful?
Jack: Why ask me?
Norri: Because you’re a ladies man (smiles).
Jack: Oh...I don’t know ...maybe I should be ask you if you want to be our witness of the marriage?
Norri: What??? (stares at Liz)
Liz: Oh, and I am going to be a mother, just to mention it.
Norri: Fine..so you could be a useful leverage...later
He leaves the room with a typical Norrington smile.
