The room has suddenly become quiet and Tia looks over at Jones as he says this. She looks genuinely touched by it.
Jack observes them for a moment, then begins, cheeky as ever...
Jack: You know, I always knew you were an old softie Jones. It was Tia I worried about-- i didn't know if she had a heart. But it would appear she does!
Tia turns and gives Jack an evil look.
Tia: You know perfectly well where my heart has always been, Jack.
There is a moment of akward tension.
Jackie: It would appear everyone has experienced disappointment in love at one time, eh?
Kate: I'll drink to that!
Abi: I've never been in love...
Everyone stops short and turns to her with a gasp. Tia smiles evilly.
Tia: Your turn is coming. Then you can join the rest of us in our misery.
Abi: But love is wonderful! Even if things dont work out... you will always be able to look back on good memories with joy, right?
Everyone looks around, and shrugs.
Will: Healing takes time, for anyone.
Tia: ANd during that time, a person is most vulnerable...
Will backs away from her.
Jones: Where is this all going? You obviously want Tia and I to calm the seas down a bit.
Jack: That would be lovely, mate.
Jones: And we obviously aren't going to.
Jack: Bugger.
Liz: What a mess we've made of this. Why don't we return to our ship and we'll come back to discuss it in the morning?
Tia: If you and Jack need to step out, you are more than welcome to. I think the rest of the crew would rather discuss it now.
Everyone is rather shocked she said that, and some nervous giggles go around. Liz looks at Jack, and he smiles at everyone else, and shrugs.
Jack: That's too tempting to pass up.
Jack and Liz purposefully take each other's hands and leave. However, they don't return to the ship. Once outside, they begin whispering.
Jack: I cant believe Jackie knew Tia Dalma... and worked for her!
Liz: It spoils the whole plan.
Jack: Don't worry, love. There's always the back-up plan!
Liz: Are you feeling persuasive?
Jack: Are you?
They grin at each other.
Liz: Hopefully the crew will at least have the sense to get them drunk...
The crew does, luckily. By the time Liz and Jack re-enter, they are all passed out on the floor, sleeping off the rum. Liz and Jack waste no time...
Damn, I'm gone for a few hours and everyone misses me. Wish every aspect of my life was this way. Okay, what do they not waste time doing? Aha!
Liz: Jack! (steps over Will) She's a goddess. You can't expect to just pour it down her throat while she's asleep.
Jack: You're right, which is why I don't expect it. You're going to take the girls out of her, all except for me sister, whom, I'm not sure is all girl. Reminds me of someone.
Liz: She looks just like you.
Jack: I'll forget you insulted me since you're under a strong amount of stress. Drag the girls and dear William out.
Liz: You're staying?
Jack: No (grins) I just have a plan.
(Liz starts with Kate, then proceeds to get the rest of them out of there and back onto the Pearl. It takes a long time and she's not sure where Jack has went to)
Liz returns to find Jack "dolled up" in some nice clothes Tia had laying around.
Liz: What in the name of...
Jack: Stunning, aren't I? I take your breath away.
Liz: What are you going to do, seduce her? (she stops. Yep, that's exactly what he's going to do) Jack.
Jack: Have I ever given you reason not to trust me?
Liz: And what am I to do? Babysit the rest of them while you're parading around wearing Davy Jones' clothes?
Jack: Well, that, and one more important thing. (hands her the vial)
Liz: Don't you want this?
Jack: Think, love. Why would I give it to you?
Liz: So I could drink it. So I could drink it?
Jack: You'll drink it, then drink it again and be back to your wonderful but ever so mortal Lizzie. But in between whilst I am in here pretending the lovely black-toothed Tia Dalma is you, you can enter as the jealous lover and if she tries to kill you...
Liz: She won't be able to. (kisses him briefly) I'll make my own cue, however, in case I think you're too good an actor.
Jack: (smirks at her) And punish me later?
Liz: You're still a ladies man.
Jack: Enough with the name calling. (Liz exits)
Okay, to sum up, Liz, Will, Gibbs, Abby, Kate, and Jacky are on the Pearl.
Liz: I'll be back. Mr. Gibbs, you're in charge.
Gibbs: Great. Commanding the governor and three women. The highlight of me career (suddenly serious) Be careful, Ms. Elizabeth.
Liz: One of these days you'll have to call me Lizzie. (exits back to the island)
(in Tia's hut. She's just waking up. Davy is passed out in the bedroom)
Tia: Jack! Where is everyone?
Jack: Gone, darling. Gone back to the Pearl. Given up.
Tia: Come to their senses, did they?
Jack: Or they thought I had a plan and had faith in me to carry it out.
Tia: And are you?
Jack: I started thinking to meself, why have a human woman when I can have a creature of the sea, unattainable, beautiful, in every way a credit to her sex (edges closer to her)
Tia: You've tried to tempt me before...
Jack: But it works, doesn't it? (rubs her neck in a sensual way. Liz sneaks up and peers in the window)
Tia: You mean to tell me Elizabeth Swann don't mean nothing to ya?
Jack: She meant a lot in bed, then became like all the rest (kisses Tia passionately. Liz is a little stunned, but drinks some of the vial)
Jack: Now, what's say we have a little bit to drink, then get rid of the squid, and have ourselves a lovely time, eh?
(Tia seems to get very excited and pulls out glasses)
Liz (enters): Jack Sparrow you filthy male whore!
Jack: Bugger
Liz: I gave you my heart! You were all I had and here you are with the enemy? About to bed her?
Tia: Get going, little girl. You know you don't belong here.
(Jack gets close enough to palm the vial from her without Tia seeing)
Jack: Hear this, girly, and hear it well. We're finished, you and I, us. There is no us.
