I can, but that would disregard jacky's....ooh! I got it! Problem solved!
Jack (not fully realizing Liz's problem): How are you immortal? (screaming at her while she's underwater)
Liz: (coming up) I'm not. I lied. (gasps and goes back down)
Jack: No need to avoid me, love. I did come after you.
Liz (poking her head out): It's the curse, Jack. I can't (pokes down head) breathe air.
Jack: That's going to make some of the things we like to do together a little difficult
Liz (poking head ): This is not the time (back under, then up) to make jokes
Jack: Any ideas?
Liz (long time under, then up): We need to go back to the pirates that were after us (quick underwater break). If we explain why we took it (back under)
Jack: Save yourself the trouble, love. Can you still hear me?
(she nods underwater)
Jack: Well, since you've started sprouting a tail, you can follow us there in the Pearl.
So, Jack goes back to the Pearl.
Will: Where is Liz?
Jack: The spell has made her a sea creature and I don’t know what I could do to rescue her.
Jacky: Oh, well.... I know a friend of Tia, he is a Voodoo Man and maybe he could help us. Oh bugger, I forgot where he lives.
Jack: I’ll give you my compass and you’ll try to remember it, please.
Jacky has found a direction and so they are sailing. Jack sits on the deck and has emptied the 2nd bottle of rum.
Gibbs: Jack, you had enough rum, don’t you think?
Jack:I...I never ha..have...had enough.
Gibbs: (to Will) I think we should bring him in his cabin and lock the door , so that he cannot have more to drink.
Will: I never thought that he loves her true, but every time I see those 2 they convince me of the opposite.
Jack has consumed a major amount of rum and is about sick with worry. Will is dragging him off to his cabin.
Will: Come on, Jack. You've had a hard couple of days. It's time for a rest.
Jack: Lizzie's never had fins. She won't know how to swim with them.
Will: She will be fine. Just lie down now (Jack staggers to his bed)
Jack: I don't sleep on this side (pushes Will, lies down on his side)
Will: It's all right. I can tell how worried about her you are.
Jack: Not that she'd be a bad mermaid. (this is drunk talk) but I was thinking I would go ahead and marry her and then if she can't breathe up here and I can't breathe down there....chaos! Chaos, mate!
Will: It'll be all right, Jack.
Jack: Chaos! (passes out)
Okay, to summarize. Liz has been cursed into turning into a mermaid/siren like creature and the crew is on the trail of the voodoo man with a trail of pirates chasing them.
Abi: No sign of anyone behind us, Mr. Gibbs.
Gibbs: Finally, some good news. Well, with the captain, er, asleep, and the miss down there, I'm in charge.
Abi: Don't let my father hear you say that. I can tell he likes being in charge.
Gibbs (surprisingly gentle): Well, lass, he was a mighty important man. He ain't used to takin' orders from what pirates he used to pursue.
Will: Did I hear you say no sign?
Gibbs: Not a single one, governor. How fares Jack?
Will: Passed out. A perfect symbol of what not to do with rum.
The crew lands on the island the voodoo man is on. We'll name him soon.
Jacky: Where's the mermaid?
Liz (pokes her head up): I'm not really one yet. This tail hurts
Will: Try to keep quiet, Elizabeth. We have no idea how these people will treat you if they see you.
Gibbs: Aye. One time when Jack and I was cultivating sugar cane, we...
Jack: A story for another time, mate. (sober)
Abi: Sugar cane?
Gibbs: Aye! Sugar cane!
Kate: Where is he? Is he in a hut?
Jacky: He should be just this way
(they go into a field of tall grass, when suddenly, Kate has her feet swept out from under her)
Norrington: Where did she go?
Gibbs: Stay together.
Jacky: Maybe he was due east instead of due west....
(a tribe of people suddenly start knocking their feet out from under them)
Jack: Bugger.
