The dog is dead, Jessi. We know it became a god, but what happens to gods of the cannibals? I'd rather they not find a dog skeleton.
(fake scene)
Will: What is that? It's a dog?
Jack: And it's been eaten to the bone
Will: Just like a chicken leg.
honestly, someone take over. I don't know what the hell's chasing them. Lilliputians maybe? Teeny tiny people in Gulliver's Travels? Talking caterpillars?
okay, I have a small scene for someone to work with.
(dream. Jack has been knocked out and kidnapped by the whatevers)
Elizabeth stood in front of him in a simple wedding dress, smiling scoldingly at him, as if she told him so.
Dream Liz: You can't stop getting out of trouble.
Jack(not really speaking, just dreaming): You need to get me out of this one
Dream Liz: I will. I have a plan down there in spite of my fish-likeness, and then when it's all over (spins in her dress)
Jack: It does become you, love
Liz: You should see what I have on under it
The next Jack knew, he awoke in a small circular hut, the back of his head the his calves aching. He could hear sounds, but couldn't make them out. None of the crew were with him. Suddenly, he could hear someone or something entering the hut.
The thing who enters is barely 4 feet, in the shape of a human, but obviously not natural. The most dangerous thing Jack notices off the bat is the creature's long, sharp finger nails and pointed teeth.
Jack: (muttering to himself, as he remembers a lecture he once heard about cursed tribes of the caribbean) the lost tribe of Gulasco!
The thing looks at him, and then whips out a small pouch, which is full of pale white powder. It quickly blows some of the powder onto Jack, who is asleep within seconds.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth is swimming near the shore of the island, desperately needing some news. It's Will who comes to her first, looking rather terrorized.
Will: Elizabeth! We've fallen into a bit of trouble... there's no safe island anymore, it would seem, because the natives have got the entire crew.
Elizabeth: Natives?
Will: They must be some sort of cursed people... they aren't hardly human. The rest of the crew is acting strange, too.
Liz: Have you seen Jack>?
Will: No... I dont know where they took him!
Liz: Find him. If anyone will know how to get out, it will be him...
Cut to Jack, pacing the hut in a mad frenzy.
Jack: Bugger! If only I knew how to get out!
Jack hears something outside his door.
Will: Jack!
Jack: Turner! Quick, get me out!
Will: I can't... the outside of your hut is coated in poison. So if you try and escape, dont touch anything! Oh, and try not to inhale the white powder. I think its some kind of drug.
Jack: Well obviously, mate! Is Elizabeth safe?
Will: Jack, at this point, no one is safe! Nice job you're doing looking after her.
Jack: You cut me deep. What's your plan?
Will: Elizabeth said to come to you because YOU would have a plan!
Jack: Where are the rest of the crew? Not hanging in giant bone cages over a river I hope...
Will: Not at all. They're all acting really strange. Too much white powder, I reckon.
Jack: (suddenly getting an idea) Find Jackie! See if you can get anything coherent out of her... she DID train with a witch, you know. SHe should know a counter-drug so at least we all have our wits about us.
Will runs off.
Cut back to Elizabeth who is waiting just beneath the water. She hears voices and raises her head, only to see the chief of the cursed tribe and his advisor. They are both small, quick, and brutal looking. Surprisingly, they begin to speak in ENglish.
Chief: She said they'd be coming this way.
Advisor: right you are chief.
Chief: Now we've got a good supply to sacrifice, if the volcano gets restless again.
Advisor: Never said a truer word.
Chief: I especially think we should keep the tall dark one. He might want to see him, when He gets here.
Advisor: Perfectly spoken sir.
Chief: Well, back to the village with ya. And see if you cant catch the skinny white faced boy on the way...
At this point Elizabeth realizes she should probably do something. She manages to swim back to the pearl, which is anchored offshore, and after getting a big breath of air (she is getting better at holding her breath) she wriggles into the hold just long enough to obtain several packets of gunpowder.
Remembering what the chief said about the vocano, Liz concludes that it might just be possible to break apart the entire island from underneath...
Very clever, Kate! I love it. A cursed tribe and mermaid Liz to the rescue.
Liz ties the kegs of gunpowder together and swims from the ocean into a small river on the island. The kegs keep her fairly close to the surface. The huts quickly come into view. Bypassing them, she finds the volcano and leaves them there. Swimming back to the huts, she finds Jacky first, who is tied to a tree outside.
Liz: Jacky. Over here.
Jacky: Spared from the pygmy delights, eh?
Liz: I think I can break apart the island. I need your help to free everyone, though.
Jacky: Not sure I can do that, dearie. Most of the huts they're in are surrounded with poison and we're all separated.
Liz: If I can hold my breath long enough to untie you, would you at least try? This will work if we can get everyone to one concentrated place.
(Liz slides out of the water, an orangy tail in place of her legs. She is holding her breath and scoots close enough to Jacky to untie her. She hurries back into the water)
Jacky: I like the new look, very avant garde. I think Will is free to roam around, though I don't know why.
Liz: He's to be the first sacrifice, I think
Jacky: Oh. Well no time to lose. Stay there. I'll see who I can find.
Liz: Everyone would be nice (doesn't quite know what to make of Jacky)
Someone else's turn
Liz stays put, waiting for Jacky to return, when she sees another little person running towards the volcano. Liz follows him/her to the base of the volcano.
Jacky: Will!
Will: You managed to escape?
Jack (inside): What's all this ruckus?
Jacky: Jack? (reaches to touch the hut, Will pulls her away)
Will: We can't touch it! Have you seen the others.
Jacky: Just Ms. Elizabeth. She had some kegs and said she could blow apart the island. Wisely she decided to wait until we were all reunited.
Will: Blow up the island?
Jacky: Unfortunately, we're to be sacrificed to a volcano on the other side.
Jack: Well, if we hear a boom, we'll all know why
Will: Jack, do you think you could climb through the hole in the top.
Jack: You sound a bit daft, mate.
Will: No. Jacky and I could climb one of these trees without being seen and lower a rope to you and pull you out through the hole in the top.
Jack: Without touching anything, Turner?
Jacky: You want to stay in there?
Jack: Not particularly. All right. We'll do it your way, just for kicks. Then find the others.
Liz decides to stop waiting and leaves the kegs and swims back through the river. It will only be a matter of time before they explode.
Jacky and Will are in a tree with a rope (don't ask me where they got it, use your imagination....Jack's back hair, or whatever) and are trying to get it centered within the hole
Jack: A little more, now. There. (grabs it, fastens himself around it) Real slow now.
(they pull him up)
Jack: Hey, that wasn't a bad idea, Will (rope begins to slide, Jack has a terrfied look)
Jacky: Grab it! (they save it just in time)
Jack: Bloody stupid, Will Turner! Now what?
Will: Pull yourself to us and we'll all climb down (jack starts to climb)
In other hut, Abi and Norrington are tied together
Norrington: Abigail, I wanted to tell you now in case I don't get a chance later. I love you and I am extremely proud of you
Abi: It's all right, Father. We're going to get out of this. Jack and the others...
Norrington: Abigail, the only good thing Jack can do for everyone is die. I'll admit, he has his bright moments and flirts with being a good man enough to make it convincing, but he's nothing but trouble for everyone.
Abi: Then you distrust all that associate with him (frowns)
Norrington: Not everyone. You're doing all right for yourself (looks back at her and smiles proudly) I'd have a whole crew of just you
Abi: Thank you, but what about Mr. Gibbs and Elizabeth and Will?
Norrington: Pirates, the lot of them, even the governor.
(Kate and Gibbs are also tied together in another hut)
Gibbs: Ar, been tryin' these here ropes, young miss, and won't budge an inch
Kate: We may be stuck waiting for one of the others. And there is always Elizabeth.
Gibbs: Aye, she's quick on her feet. Course, she don't have feet right now.
Kate: Do you think this is the island we'll find Jacky's voodoo man?
Gibbs: I think we're close, but I hope this isn't that island
Kate: Poor Miss Elizabeth.
Gibbs: Poor indeed, lass. But she'll get us out of here, us and Ms. Norrington and the lot.
Kate: Ms... (can turn her head just enough to see Gibbs turn red) Mr. Gibbs! Are you telling me you are sweet on Abi Norrington?
Gibbs: Nothin' of the sort! I'd rather take back Jack the monkey than some commodore's brat.
(Kate just shakes her head and sort of makes a face)
Jack: Anyone in here?
Kate: Jack?
Gibbs: Jack! You can touch the rope. It's not poisoned. Get us out of here now.
Jack: I plan to do just that, mate, especially since Lizzie has decided to play with explosives.
Gibbs: Captain?
Jack: Yep. We're all to be blown to bits, the clever girl.
Kate: Are you still drunk?
Will: The question is when isn't he drunk. (Kate laughs)
Jack: When the two of you are done at my expense...
Jacky: You can't blame them.
Gibbs: How much time do we have?
Will: Not long if Elizabeth already planted them. Let's get the others and find her.
