The difference is, Darkseid said that (a character's WORDS), no depiction of such levels of power on panel.
We actualy SEE (On Panel Artwork) the ALE getting TRAPPED in it's own dimension by
Fate, Highfather, Orion, Darkseid and Etrigen.

In my honest opinion, any wielder of the Infinity Gauntlet has jurisdiction over any universe or dimension... for instance Thanos with it could traverse into Mephistos' realm and take it over. When I read any and all books of a character that possesed of the Gauntlet, the only thing hindering them was their own imaginations and or that of the writers of the series.
Truth be told even Star Dust is a reality manipulator of small order as he can open dimensional rifts, but he is not omnipotent or omnipresent, Thanos showed that he was. The Living Tribunal in KMC logic is more powerful than the Gauntlet, but in the Infinity Watch he did not beat Adam Warlock. Warlock backed down he was not beaten, so it could be that the Gauntlet was more powerful than he was. Please refrain from disputing this because it will only lead to uncertainties, and futile conflicts of opinions.
Unless someone can show me that the Tribunal is or was more powerful, which they can not, I believe that Thanos takes this one hands down. Once again let me say that Adam Walock submitted because he did not want to destroy reality which means that a battle between him and the Tribunal was in fact mutiversal. Remember one thing when reading my post I am not being biased, I just think that many base their opinions on favoritism and not on facts. Mxy and the beyonder are lower omniscients, as the Tribunal pointed out in a Fantastic Four comic long ago.
