Kobe aint shit without Shaq.

That is the dumbest thing i have read in quite some time, bravo sir a perfect example of typing without thinking.

So now the season is over i though i'd get some opinions on top plays of the past year. What would be your guys:

1. Top dunk
2. Top assist
3. Top rejection
4. Top alley oop
5. Top buzzer beater

If you guys can think of any more categories feel free to add them. Thoughts?

i think kobe is a better player without shaq, hes had to evolve for a start. the series against the suns has shown how hes taken a pretty bad team into a decent team.

Top rejection has got to go to Big Ben on Shaq in game 5

Best play: (maybe count this as best alley-oop) Wade running towards out of bounds at the half court and dribbling the ball around his opponent to keep it in bounds (I'm sure you've all seen this at least on highlights). Wade then imidiately tossed the ball from just inside half court and Shaq slammed it down. The set up was the best part though (the highlights never seem to show that Wade throws up an awesome alley-oop after the save).

I think everyone except Texas fans saw them winning.

That's funny cuz even many Heat fans admitted to me that they thought they would lose the series. Many of them commented that they were surprised that the Mavs weren't able to finish them off in game 3. Also a lot of analysts picked the Mavs over the Heat as well. In fact, I'd say the only people who were really confident they would win this series were the Heat players themselves, maybe 😉 Let's not forget all the sulking on the sidelines from Haslem and Walker in particular when they were losing.

Once again your logic is flawed. If I can even call it that. 81 pts, 62 in 3 qtrs, led his team to the playoffs with a lot of young players who had no prior playoff experience and had a very good showing in their first round match up with the Suns.

Seriously, do you even watch basketball or are you just here to act like a troll and antagonize people?

I agree with Big Ben for top rejection.

OWNED!

As for top assist, I think it would probably have to be anything Nash did.

Top Buzzer Beater goes to Kobe in game 4 against Phoenix. Wait was it game 4? seems like it's been ages now, Bah...you know what I mean.

As for best dunk, I dunno that's a toughy. I tell you what, why don't we create some kinda list of the best dunks with video clip footage of each, mmm... that'll be quite tasty and we'll all like vote on it or something. I have a few in mind but I'm sure there's some I've probably forgotten at this point.

I'm already thinkin Kobe's dunk on Nash and Findog's facial on Damp.

kobes balls in nash's mouth dunk wins.

Top dunk - Carter on Mourning (no matter how many times i see it, it doesnt get old).
Top assist - AK47 to Boozer, bounce pass between the legs (if you havent seen it i'll try and find a youtube link). The Laker fan in me wants to say Odom's between the legs bounce pass while on the ground because it reminds me of Magic, but AK's was sicker.
Top rejection - Big Ben on Shaq was awesome for so many reasons, totally changed the momentum of that game.
Top alley oop - Kidd to Carter against the Magic, Kidd threw a no look lob to Carter running the baseline and Carter reverse stuffed it hard after bringing the ball down to his knees.
Top buzzer beater - Call me predictable but Kobe's game 4 winner is hard to top. I can remember picking my 7yr old son up and dancing around the house like a fool. The only way it could have been better is if the series was still a best of 5 format. 🙁

My #1 play/alley oop for the year (its #1 in the countdown):

And 1 (although I don't remember if Shaq made his free throw)

nba actions #1 dunk of the year (alonzo getting crowned), and 4 of the top 10 dunks of the year were of vince carter....who also had one of the top 10 passes and buzzer beaters of the year.

as for the best rejection...i would also have to give that to big ben on shaq.

the best pass i would give to kirilenko with a touch pass between the legs (no look) to carlos boozer.

and the best buzzer beater.....if it was actually a buzzer beater and not a game winning 3 from 40 feet with 0.1 second(s) remaining i would definitely give it to vince against his old team, but since it was not a pure buzzer beater ill give it to kobe against phoenix.

Who do you (realistically) want to see go where in the draft?

The more I read and hear about, the more I want the Blazers to pick up Rudy Gay.

What is College basketball?

http://www.collegehoopsnet.com/Draft/mockdraft.htm

I like this draft right here, because it is the only one I found that I have heard of the person the Sixers draft. Rojon Rondo is a monster at 3's.

You would like this draft too, getting Gay and Ager. Ager is really good. I would rather get Brandon Roy though instead of Gay. But that is just because I don't like Gay.

I like Kyle Lowry in Phoenix but I would rather him stay at Villanova. I also like Randy Foye in Orlando. Him, Jameer, and Dwight will be a force in a couple years. I also like JJ going to Houston. So this is probably the draft I would like to see happen.

I don't see Bargnani as #1 though. Possibly, but I doubt it. Although, I wouldn't complain getting Gay (or Roy).

I didn't even look at the first pick. 😆 Yeah, I don't see him going first either.

i follow these projections the most http://nbadraft.net/ They are updated constantly and have historically been pretty good. Collegehoops.net has some odd picks.

i think bargnani is looked at as first because of the interest the raptors have shown in him. from what i've heard he sounds promising, good big man with a great outside shot and a nice touch inside. his problems are defence and toughness... which most rookies have to learn. its been said hes similar to dirk, and its taken dirk until now to become at best a solid defender.

The real prize is gonna be next year when Greg Oden is eligible, that dude is gonna be scary.

Damn right. I say the Blazers tank one more year to get him 😉
