i'm a little late on this but when nash is playing stoudamare's FG% is 58 when nash is out its 38....
detroit is finally looked like they adjusted to the leagues rules on defense and are playing great again
woods is an idoit
jackson could be a huge asset to the suns bench
not sure what to think of arroyo/campbell all i know is campbell hasnt played at all with the exception of the 1st month
i missed the spurs/suns game 🙁
The Suns really showed their inexperience letting the Spurs come back like that. They had them down and out at the start of the 4th, great game though. Steve Nash was amazing in his 1st game back since the injury. Ginobli was unconscious for the entire game, he is the real deal and so are the Spurs.
You think it looks good on paper? I don't think even that looks good.
Przybilla is better than he is on paper but he is not great. Theo has played like crap ALL year. He isn't even worthy of starting (and he was my fav Blazer last year). 5pts/5rebs is horrible as a starting center and 2.78blks is decent but it is way down from last year and he isn't really scaring off shots like he did in the past. Randolph- overpaid, playing like crap. He can't even bump Theo to the bench right now. Miles has not played well plus he is on bad terms with the orginization right now (called Cheeks a n*gger like 20 times and said he didn't care if they continue losing because either way Cheeks will be gone). Speeking of, Cheeks may resign before he is fired. Staudamire, Van Exel, and Patterson are decent but they are way too short (5'10", 6'1", 6'5" at the PG, SG, SF starting positions). Infact, they are the only ones playing well with the exception of Przybilla going beyond expectations. After these guys though, we have pretty much nothing in the way of the bench and they are not good enough to lead the team for an entire game. At least Telfair holds a good future.
Like i said they look ok on paper, its obvious they are not playing up to their potential for what ever reason. But being you're a Blazers fan i'm not going to argue stats with you (like i said ive only caught 1 of their games this year), but theres no denying there are a few teams this year that are under performing and i'd put the Blazers in that category (along with the T'Wolves, Denver and Detroit).
I guess I see what you mean. Last year I would have thought the line-up looked decent. I guess I don't look at the players so highly anymore. I definitely agree with you on T-Wolves, Denver and Detroit. Detroit is in a slight slump but I don't think they should worry too much just yet while T-Wolves and Denver are just dying. I hate 'Melo though so I'm glad to see them lose but I'm a big KG fan so that is sad. Hopefully next year Cassell and Spree will be gone and the T's can start fresh and get back on track.
Another reason I don't think that the Blazers are very good on paper is because Patterson (although decent) is a career 6th man, not a starter and Przybilla is better than he looks on paper. Plus the bench has no depth. The only thing good on paper is Damon, Van Exel, Z-Bo and Ratliff (maybe Miles). On paper, they look like a 8th seed at best but with their lack of backup support, reality makes things even worse.
