detriot baby detriot!!!......they seem to be back on track...but than again...every time i say that they go off track again

Anyone heard about the Jazz trading Boozer to the Lakers for George, Butler and Divac?

No but I heard a rumor for him for Butler, Walton, and Medvedenko. Heard that the Jazz don't want their contracts though. Also, I heard that Kings rejected a trade involving Peja for Odom. Kings apparently want to trade Webber because of his contract but the only people who are will to take it is the Knicks but in exchange they would unload their god-awful contracts of Houston and Penny. Bucks also want to try to trade Redd since he seems to want to sign with Cleveland this summer.

I kind of doubt that trade proposal ever happened as Petrie trades always come out of the blue and never get into the media until it's done.

I would love for that trade to happen though. Odom would give the Kings rebounding, shot blocker, athleticism, passing and most importantly someone who could drive to the basket which the Kings sorely lack right now. They would only lose shooting which doesn't kill us as the Kings already have some of the top shooters at each position and Odom isn't a terrible shooter anyways.

Redd along side LeBron would be amazing. I cant see anyone wanting Medvedenko, that guy just blows. If Butler does leave the Lakers it will be a dissapointment for me as he is a hard worker and plays with alot of heart, but Boozer would give us some much needed rebounding and low post scoring.

I heard a VERY small rumor from this weekend that Sacramento was thinking about Peja and Bobby Jackson for Odom.

That's horrible in terms of skills...but that might work to Sac's advantage when it comes to cap room. I'm quite sure the Maloof's are over the cap and don't mind the luxury tax...but you never know.

Besides, when they were approached with the issue regarding the trade....they quickly shot down all rumors.

I heard more along the lines of Peja for Odom and Butler. Again, I heard this won't fall through. Hornets are really trying to get rid of Baron and he might end up in Toronto. Heat may some how package a deal including Doleac for Donyell Marshall of the Raptors now that Mourning should soon be Shaq's main backup.

Sixers are trying to get Donyell too.

Who are the Sixers offering?

Probably Robinson. THey have desperately been trying to get rid of him.

Shaq hurt his knee today. They don't know how bad it is yet.

Vince Carter got schooled by the lowly Raptors. He did score plus 20 points, but he shot horrible. Cant wait for the return to Toronto where the fans hate players that leave. (McGrady, Damon Stoudamire and others).

Its understandable for them to hate Carter though. Hell, I hate him for his babying.

Hahaha. Especially when its obvious that he didnt play for the past year and the half while we were paying him 90 million dollar contract. Also to say that he is happier in New Jersey and thats why he is playing better is full of crap. Wait New Jersey for Carter to not like being there, and have his mom complain and then you'll see what Toronto went through. And also when he gets injured again. See him miss 30 games and then shoot jumpers, off balance shots and threes and NOT drive to the line and get fouled. You saw it last night against the Raptors.
Look at Jalen Rose and Donyell Marshall, they might not like playing in Toronto because the team is going anywhere right now, but they still come out and play thier hardest every game. If it wasnt for those two guys, we wouldnt win half the games.

Jason Kidd makes Carter...and his game...a lot better.

It's not about trying...it's about Kidd.

I dont agree. He's playing like he did back about 2 or 3 years ago. He played exactly like that, so I dont think its about Kidd.
I do admit Kidd would give him the ball but he still has to shoot it well.

Don't know the specifics yet, but since Baron is way better than anybody on the Warriors this is a good move.

Chris Webber has been traded to the 76ers for shit. There better be more moves to come.

Yeah, I knew the Kings didn't want Webber's contract but damn. That looks like the biggest rip off ever and I don't care what it means salary wise. This could be good for the teams I'm rooting for/against (more against). I haven't been a big fan of the Kings so I'm happy they got ripped. Also, I am not a fan of Phili so I hope this doesn't make them too good but it makes it harder for the Pacers to squeeze into the playoffs and I really don't want them to make it.
