i'd like to see the lakers get deep in the playoffs this year... don't get me wrong.. i hate the lakers and don't care for kobe much, i'm a lebron guy, have been since he was a junior in high school, but kobe needs to get that enormous weight off his shoulders, and its called shaquille o'neal. Kobe needs to prove he can be the leader of a serious contender, but other than that, go bulls, go bucks 😂 😂 , go cavs. its funny, because my three fav teams are in the same divison.

P.S. hate the pistons

Nah, I got the Pistons beating the Heat, Bulls vs Pistons in Conference Finals. Dont sleep on the Pistons because they lost Ben Wallace, and from the day the Bulls got Wallace I picked them to go to the Finals, because thats what they were missing.

LAKERS!!! 3-0 baby, keep it coming. Kobe looked a lil rusty last night but thats cool because IMO he'll knock the cob webs off and we'll be back to his dominant self in about 3 games. Lamar, I mean what can I say, as of right now he's what most people knew he could be, a walking triple double, he hasn't got one yet but hes come close but I very pleased with his performance so far. Hopefully he can be concistent with it, and keep it throughout the whole season, then into the playoffs. Im loving the triangle right now, LOVING IT!

I knew you'd respond like this after yesterday's win. 😄

I know I couldn't wait 😆

WOW the Bobcats have Raymond Felton, Adam Morrison, Emeka Okafor, and Sean May. HOW MANY TOP PICKS CAN THEY GET. Soon they will probaly have Joakim Noah and Greg Oden.

Who was the guy who said they wanted the Blazers to finish last so they could draft Oden?

Whoever you are, do you really think Oden should be the top pick? I mean Joakim Noah is a great player and has already lead his team to a national title, plus its no guarantee that Oden is going to leave OSU after one year.

I hate Joakim Noah. He has to be the ugliest basketball player alive. Also, he wasn't the only good player. Florida also had Green, Brewer, Horford, Humphrey.

LMAO lets not forget about Sam Cassel

I love Noah, its like theres a fire burning inside of him and he's so passionate for the game. I met him when I went to the UCLA Florida game, he's a cool guy.

I'm picking Florida to repeat, I would love for Wake to be there but I just know it isnt going to happen.

Noah is the best player in college right now.

Joakim Noah will be a solid NBA player, but oden has the ability to dominate the game like Olojuwon, Ewing, and Shaq. Oden needs to stay in school for at least 2 years though, to develop and learn before he gets rushed into the NBA. The NBA should have the 3 year rule just like the NFL has... college sports have proved in the past for form ok players into good/great players with the exceptions being KG, Kobe, and Lebron, among a few others. Without college, Elton Brand wouldn't be the player he is today, neither would AI,D-Wade,Tim Duncan, etc. For that reason, Noah will be great within a couple of years, if Oden comes out after 1 year, it will take a long time for him to develop and become a great player

Yeah Kobe, Tmac, and KG have had some extreme success in the NBA but there are some nobodies like Kwame Brown.

Anybody have or can make a list of all the players in the NBA that have skipped college and went straight to NBA?

Noah is uglier than Cassel.

I hate Noah because he is on the team that ended Villanova's run. Also because he is on the team that ended George Mason's run. And also because he is on the team that won the Championship, and keeps everybody and is now favorite to win it again. I always hate the team that is favorite to win, and since he is the leader, I hate him.

Out of memory( i'll give it a shot)
Moses Malone, Jermaine O'neal, Andrew Bynum, KG, Kobe, Sebastian Telfair, Lebron James, tyson Chandler, Amare Stoudemire, Eddy Curry, al jefferson, JR Smith, Josh Smith, Kwame Brown, Jonathon Bender, dwight howard, martel webster, shawn livingston, robert swift, gerald green, amir johnson, louis williams, CJ miles, sagania Diop , Darius Miles, al Harrington

I'll admit about half of those i had to look up, but thats the complete list

Thanks!

Josh Smith is sick wit it, best dunker in the NBA IMO. He's always in my starting lineup when Im doing a draft on the video game. He can dunk and Block, one of my favorite players.

For sure, he is one of those players that in 3-5 years will be a top talent in the league, along with lebron, wade, carmelo, dwight howard, emeka okafor, and many others.

question: why doesn't michael redd get any respect?

Good question

Redd is one of the leagues superstars, but with players like Kobe, Tmac, Lebron, Iverson, KG, Duncan, Carter, Wade, Allen, Kidd, Dirk, and Nash. Players like him get over looked.

One of the best shooters though.

Redd is a great scorer, he is more than just a pure shooter. He is an underrated ballhandler and seems to be looking to attack the basket more this year. I think the reason he is usually looked over is because he isnt flashy, he rarely dunks or throws behind the passes. He just keeps the game simple, kinda like how Rip doesnt get much attention even though he is one of the most consistent scorers in the league.

Josh Smith is a crazy athlete but his game is pretty much limited to how high he can jump. Once he works on ballhandling, shooting and post up moves he will be a handful.

Finally the Lakers are looking good, even though the season is young. Nice to see Kobe fit right in and keep the ball moving. He will need to take over now and then to compete with the elite teams but with the other guys stepping up it wont be every night thankfully. I am hoping with Kobe having to do less he can concentrate on playing stellar defense, he was good last year but with all the scoring he had to do you could see that his defense suffered sometimes. Odom has been incredible so far, im really hoping he can make the All Star team this year. Once we get fully healthy we are gonna be pretty deep at most positions, the big thing will be if our role players like Walton, Turiaf, Evans, Cook and Vlade can be consistent.

Sixers 3-0. w00t

Yeah and as soon as they start losing it's 'let's go Heat!!'w00t

Must be nice to have two favorite teams 🙄

Im just worried about Kwame right now, will his suck ballsness drag the Lakers down or will he have actually improved and contribute something to the team.

Kwame provides something that many teams dont have and thats strong post defense. He gave post up players like Shaq, Yao, Duncan, KG and Sheed problems last season because of his strength. Bynum and Mihm are both better shot blockers than Kwame but he can really hold his ground against the power players in the league.
His offense is still a mess and will be until he slows down and works on his post moves. The difference between Kwame and Bynum on offense is stunning really when you think of how young Bynum is, he is much more under control when he makes his moves. Kwame rushes too much and often takes shots where he doesnt have his balance or his is not in rhythm.
Until he comes around offensively i will be happy if he plays with some passion on defense and rebounds the ball. At his size he should be averaging alot more boards.

Oh yeah, come to think of it, the sixers won, but it was against the heat. So, the heat are your 2nd team? I'm just curious.

EDIT, sorry
