Yes the Heat are my second team. I only like them because of Wade, actually. I've liked Wade since he was in Marquette.
I pretty much hate the heat, but I'm alright with Wade. I also used to be a Sixer fan, loved AI, and I still do. But ever since they started missing the playoffs, I drifted towards the nets, and now they're my #1 team. My #2 is the pistons.
Ouch! We got turned over by the Sonics tonight, horrible defense the whole game. We have enough offense but we need to bring the defense every night. I cant understand how they have not remembered how to stop a team like the Sonics who just rely on dribble penetration to get wide open shots. Last season in the playoffs we stayed home on the outside shooters and let the guy penetrating take the difficult shot, that worked and it would have slowed the Sonics down tonight but we kept collapsing and leaving them open.
Hopefully they will learn from this and realise that even though they got off to a great start you cant just turn up expecting to win while not giving 100%.
Great start by the Sixers btw, i still think they need to involve Iggy more in their offense though. Once he learns how to read the game better he could be a Pippen type player for them who runs the offense. That would free AI up to just pick his spots instead of having the ball all the time and having to create for himself and others.
I'm getting pretty sick of seeing these Wade commercials, they're so annoying and boring and they come on so much. But the Lebron commercials are pretty funny "I'll call you back" haha I love it.
Anyways, I still think the Lakers are taking too many 3's and giving up too many also. Although early we are hitting them, we seem to go dry later on and that's when we need to realize it and start giving Odom and Bynum the ball in the post. The turnovers are really getting to me, it's not even good ones either, especially the Kobe turnovers, I would just like to know what the hell he was thinking on some of those passes, did he think the ball would materialize and go through the defenders chest? He's still a bit rusty, but I dont think doing And 1 moves, like he tried to do, is going to get him back in the flow of thngs.

I haven't seen any Wade commercials, but the Lebron commercials are great.
Kobe racked up 5 assists in the first quarter by making simple smart passes, he seemed to go away from that and started forcing passes that had no chance getting through.
Way too many three's last night, that should be our last resort. When we hit a few we seem to forget to use the post, we have some great post players with Kobe, Odom, Bynum and Walton (yes Walton). They all can score down there but more importantly they know how to pass out of double teams and create open shots.
Anyway we are still looking better than what i expected and 1 loss certainly isnt the end of the world. I think in a strange way we needed to get our asses kicked to bring us back to earth after such a great start. Now hopefully we can see there is alot to improve on.

I recently saw a Wade commercial. It was with him and Charles Barkely or something, and this waitress comes up and says, "OMG, Dwyane Wade! I'm your biggest fan!" Dwyane obviously smiles back, and she truns to Charles and says, "And...are you his father?" LOL, I cracked up after seeing this one.
As for Lebron, I saw the one where many different clones of him are playing basketball, and it was like a nike commercial or something, i don't exactly remember how it went.

Oh. 😆 I saw that one. 😆 😆
After watching the 1st few games of the season I am really impressed by the amount of parity in the league this season and how improved a lot of the teams seem.
I can't even pick 8 teams in the wild wild west, it's almost impossible. Btw, don't sleep on teams like Utah and GS, they both look much improved this season. I think Utah is for real. When the dust settles at the end of the season, I see Sloan's team there at the end. GS might miss the playoffs but they will still be much improved from last season. And look out for the Magic in the east.
Anyway, it's going to be a fun and exciting season to watch but on the downside I still don't have league pass or anything like that so I'm not going to be able to watch most of the games,🙁 oh well, we'll see how it all plays out.
I'm curious what happened to Brandon Roy tonight. He played just 14 minutes scoring 3 points, with 1 rebound and 2 assists. I was only able to watch the 2nd half of the game and he didn't play at all once I started watching. The announcers were also Clipper announcers so they didn't mention Roy once. Did he get hurt or something? It not in the nba.com news or anything and he didn't get an T's, so I have no idea why he wasn't played in the 2nd half of the game. Its hard for me to believe that Nate Mac decided not to play him unless he was hurt.

I read the game recap and it says that a bone in his achilles was hurting him so much that he asked the coach to rest for the reamainder of the game. He's supposed to get an MRI soon.
