I know you like Wade and heat, but there comes a point where you just have to admit that you team played terribly and the other team played well. just a thought.As for the lakers, it was great game from the, especially because they were without kobe, kwame, and mihm. they were down by 20 points? I didn't see the game, but wow, it was a great comeback. Odom played phenomenally, but with kobe in the lineup, he can't play as aggressively, because the ball is in kobe's hands the majority of the time. So, Odom should savor his performance yesterday.
The heat do have a good chance of repeating, if shaq stays healthy and wade keeps doing his thing. I know it's a lot of burden on wade to put up superstar #'s after a tiresome summer, but he's capable of doing it. I predict they'll beat the bulls in the conference finals but lose to san antonio in the finals.
If you win by 40 points you obviously played well. So I didn't really need to say anything about the Bulls.
That's not my point. It's not only the fact that you didn't mention it. You tried to deny it by saying it was only one game. If you said, "The bulls played really well, but it's really only one game," i would've understood. But you didn't mention the bulls because you wanted to hush their performance, not because you didn't have to mention them.

My post didn't have anything to do with the Bulls. I was saying, "The Heat played horrible, but it was only one game." I had no reason to say the same thing(except playing well) for the Bulls that game.
And, even If I was talking about the Bulls, I still wouldn't have said that, because I expect the Bulls to do very well this year, and play like they did that night a lot. Maybe not beating good teams by 40 every night, but I could see them going to the Finals.

Doubt it. They are on the right track but their offense is going to kill them in the playoffs. For one thing, they have no true superstar who can just score when it is absolutely needed like we've recently seen Wade, Duncan, or Kobe do. Add to the fact that with Ben Wallace, Chicago is pretty much playing 4 on 5 on offense which good teams will exploit. In the past, Detroit countered this problem with having quality offensively players at every other position which neglected Ben's terrible offensive game. Chicago doesn't have that same kind of firepower. They are pretty much a KG trade away from truly being a contender.
I watched the pistons play these first 2 games, and they're nothing like the pistons we knew a couple years ago. I don't think they're making it past conference semis this year.
Man, I would've been so happy if the nets beat the heat last night, it was a close one. A few less unforced turnovers and a couple layups made and they would've had it.

Do you know why the pistons aren't the pistons of old? because their getting old... sheed is getting old... Ben Wallace, who isn't an overall dominate center is with the bulls now.. thats why the pistons will lose in the first round of the playoffs and the bulls will make it to the finals.. and beat the spurs and POWER FORWARD Tim Duncan.
no, the pistons aren't as good because the chemistry isn't there. flip saunders doesn't get along with his players, ben's out, and their bench shrinked even further. that's why. A couple years of age doesn't affect players that much.

Nah, I got the Pistons beating the Heat, Bulls vs Pistons in Conference Finals. Dont sleep on the Pistons because they lost Ben Wallace, and from the day the Bulls got Wallace I picked them to go to the Finals, because thats what they were missing.
LAKERS!!! 3-0 baby, keep it coming. Kobe looked a lil rusty last night but thats cool because IMO he'll knock the cob webs off and we'll be back to his dominant self in about 3 games. Lamar, I mean what can I say, as of right now he's what most people knew he could be, a walking triple double, he hasn't got one yet but hes come close but I very pleased with his performance so far. Hopefully he can be concistent with it, and keep it throughout the whole season, then into the playoffs. Im loving the triangle right now, LOVING IT!
