Now all they need to do is change the stupid "Zero Tolerance" rule and the new dress code.

Great performance by the guys last night, the Spurs played really well and i thought they were going to pull away in the 3rd because they had some momentum at the end of the 2nd and we usually come out flat in the 3rd. Boy was i wrong, we played some of the best pressure defense i have seen from a Laker team in many years. Everyone was active, communicating on D and most importantly we turned the turnovers into points. Fantastic effort on D last night against a team that usually doesnt get rattled.
Lamar was back to his best just missing a triple double and playing some great help D, Kwame was instrumental in containing Duncan in the 2nd half. Walton must be a candidate for most improved player, he has been awesome for us so far. Bynum had a great stint in the first half, blocked Duncan and provided a low post presence. Kobe was inspirational, 34pts on a sprained ankle and he led the team defensively in the 3rd. Im sure most people will look at the fact that he only had 1 assist, but i counted at least 5 times where he drew 2 defenders and made the pass that led to the assist. As long as he is moving the ball i dont care if he doesnt get the assist because when we move the ball we win games, that to me is way more important than having a impressive stat line.
Im glad Stern has seen the error of his ways and is changing the ball back, there seemed no good reason for the change in the first place.

Actually, the tech rule has subsided some as well. I think it is a combination of players adjusting and Stern having them cut back some since the players union filed suit.
I'm alright with "low tolerance," but "zero tolerance" is ridiculous. This is basketball. It's the player nature to shout out in frustration in the heat of the game. As long as it's not toward a ref, players should be able to do that. Just as Myth said, the rules have become a little less strict, but it's annoying how when players do no harm to the refs or the other players and they're hit with Techs.
Nobody wants to pay good money to go watch a game and have it spoiled by whistle happy refs, you want to see the best players out there competing - not getting thrown out the game for showing some emotion. I can understand if they get in the refs face but some of the T's given this season have been beyond ridiculous.
The Nets won! It's great to see that they played with smiles on their faces, even if it was against the slumping Grizzlies. Hopefully, this game will shift the momentum toward their favor. Otherwise, they're in for a long season.
And Congrats to Kidd, 79th career TD, passing Wilt. Carter, 37 points and 9 three's? Oh well, I'll take around 50% shooting any night from him. Mikki Moore is really shining in Cliff's place. He brings energy, passion, and hustle into the game. Lawrence Frank better give this man some more minutes and glue Collins to the bench!

Did they officially change it or is it just something they agreed upon?
Depends which topic you are referring to...
The ball will switch back on January 1st.
The complaining rules have been noticeably reduced, but nothing official was ever said. Though, a suit was filed and many analysts believe Stern may have secretly told the refs to be a little more tolerant.
Just when you thought things were going good, Lamar Odom sprains his ****ing knee and will be missing a lot of time.
I didn't expect the Lakers to win the game last night but Kobe's taemates didn't step up when they were needed. But, like always Kobe did his part and had a good game. If the Lakers beat the Rockets in Houston w/o Lamar(sprained ankle three minutes into the game) then I assume they will defeat them tommorow at STAPLES Center.
Yea, and I hate the Zero-Tolerance thing too. Guys get techs for yelling when duunking. Luidicrous!
