The only way the Lakers will make the playoffs is if Denver self destructs and other players on the Lakers step up. Btw i was born in England in case you're curious. Kobe bailed us out the other night against Dallas but it cant become a regular thing, Odom, Atkins, Butler and Mihm have got to bring it to. As for our bench, its pretty non existent. Every now and then we get a 20pt game from someone but its no were near the Consistency you need.

Jesus Christ. Here is what the Blazers are using today:

Starting line-up:
PG: Sebastian Telfair
SG: Travis Outlaw
SF: Darius Miles
PF: Abdur-Raheem
C: Joel Przybilla
Bench:
Theo Ratliff
Ritchie Frahm
Viktor Khryapa
Maurice Baker
Ha Seung-Jin

We are going to die. The thing that really pisses me off is Van Excel refuses to play because of the young man movement.

Stoudemire I think hurt himself and will be out just 2 games. Przybilla is starting over Theo because Theo has sucked this year and Przybilla has been emerging.

1. Phoenix 48-15
2. San Antonio 47-15
3. Seattle 42-19
4. Dallas 41-21
5. Sacramento 39-25
6. Houston 37-25
7. Memphis 35-27

8. Lakers 32-29
9. Denver 32-30
10. Minnesota 32-32

Kobe has missed 14 games this season and during his absence the Lakers went 5-9.

Minnesota has shown no sign of putting anything together all year long, Sacramento just lost Brad Miller for a couple of weeks with a broken foot, Denver and Memphis are both good teams, but much like the Lakers they lack consistancy.

I wouldn't say the Lakers would be "lucky" to make the playoffs. I'd say the Clippers would be lucky to make the playoffs. The Lakers have a very solid chance...no luck required.

I think luck always comes into it in some shape or form, be it injuries or whatever. The Lakers main problem other than consistency is that they rely on Kobe too much. I realise he has made his bed as far as shooting too much but the other Lakers need to step up to. The prime example was the Knicks game a while back were Walton had a lay up to win the game(could have at least got fouled) and gave the ball back to Kobe as time expired. We all know Kobe is the focal point of the Lakers offence but the Lakers wont go far if its just a one man show.

As long as Lamar Odem is the #2 option on the team....I'll take Kobe being the one man show any day.

Odem sucks...

😂 😂

I think Odom has got the tools, he's nearly 7ft, can handle the ball, shoot from outside, decent post up game and is a good passer. He just doesnt seem to play with the toughness and heart of someone like KG, he should be a 20, 12 and 5 man.

😆

Odem can't dribble unless his head is looking down at the ground. He does it all the time when he forces shots to the left hand side...but to his credit...he makes some "interesting" shots.

His outside game is PATHETIC! He shoots the ball a lot outside...that doesn't mean he's a good shooter.

And when it comes down to it...he's still that player who commits a stupid ass foul for no damn reason and then continues to walk around the court with the ball in his hands even after the ref has blown the whistle and decided it's going the other direction.

I havnt been watching the NBA in a while, since i've been watching College Basketball, but the Sixers lost to to Raptors and Donyell Marshell had 12 three's. Glad i wasnt watching that game.

Im not saying he's got Isiah's handles but when matched up against most PF's he should be able to beat them off the dribble. Same with his shooting, Mark Price he is not but im comparing him to other PF's. I agree he has no right hand and his defence is pretty weak but i think if he applied himself the way KG or Sheed does then he wouldnt be such a let down.

Yeah, that was crazy man what the hell got into him? Since when is he 3 point shooter?

I always been a 3 point shooter since he was with the Raptors. Its a normal occurance that he shoots alot of three's. I has a good ablitity to hit 2 pointers during key moments of the game.
Hell, the whole Raptor teams shoots threes.

Why do you keep saying "I"?

because he;s donyall marshall....detriot won again....it was ugly but a win is a win

Because I'm an idiot, thats why.
I got he and I mixed up. I'm sorry.

LOL

Thats ok.

Goooo Lakers! 😐

Kobe 6 for 22 from the field.

The Lakers were damn ugly against the Wizards. 🙁
