ok... take back my previous comment about the amount of luck the Lakers will need to make the playoffs...

They need a lot of luck.

They need Minnesota to lose Cassell, Olowakandi, and Griffin again. Sac needs to lose more than just Brad Miller. The Nuggets need to fall completely apart.

the list goes on....

Keep the faith brotha!! 😐

Lakers this season = 🙂 Myth

Glad someone's happy about it.

it's actually a good thing that everyone in LA is upset with how sh!tty the Lakers ended up.

It almost ensures change throughout the next couple of years.

And can I just ask....what the hell happened to Vlade Divac and Devon George?

Didn't they used to be Lakers?

George is coming back from ankle surgery, they will probably trade him in the off season because of their abundance of SF's. Vlade is ancient, when you put your back out attempting a spin move that used to be one of your most effective moves, it's time to quit. He's only played a handful of games this year and is currently on the injured list again. I honestly dont think either of those two would fix the Lakers problems.

I don't think they would fix the Lakers problems by any means....but having Vlade at center (when in decent health) is a lot better than relying on Chris Mihm...who should be a powerfoward.

And I hope they don't get rid of George, he's better than Butler. Butler is non-exsistant behind the 3 point line and he isn't a terrific defender.

The sooner we lose the players from the Heat....the better.

I dont mind George's game, but Butler plays with more heart and takes it to the hole stronger. George sometimes falls in love with the 3 when he needs to drive. He can finish above the rim when he does decide to drive, but he doesnt do it often enough. Also coming back from his surgery he may not have the lift he once had, who knows? George is a good defender and i would rather be rid of Jones if we were going to get rid of a SF, i just dont think you would get much in return. As for Vlade, if he gets healthy he could contribute with his passing and low post scoring and he is a veteran with a ton of smarts. I like Mihm at center, sometimes he goes missing for spells in the game but he has a good solid game. I think we've got high expectations at center having had Wilt, Kareem and Shaq in the past. Our bench is the main let down, we have no one who can come in and consistently get 10/6/4, jesus some of our bench are trying for those numbers for the whole season. Our only hope is free agency and the draft. Trades may help but we dont have much to give in return.

totally agree.

I want to keep rooting for the Lakers, but in truth...I'm just waiting for the off season.

It could be worse dude, i remember watching the Lakers in the 90's when their starting line up was Sedale Threat, Tony Smith, Terry Teagle, A.C. Green and Elden Campbell. 😐

Thats a better scenario than I have with the Blazers. I want them to lose as many games possible now because this season is over so might as well go for a good lottery pick. Because of the streak of the Blazers in the playoffs, I have never got to actually feel excitement for the Blazers on lottery day.

This is probably a good year for us to start then. Who's with me?

Hahah so true.
Unlike the Raptor's lottery days are everyy year.
But we've never had the number 1 pick.

how about them pistons 🤺

How 'bout those Lakers 😐

How 'bout them Hawks.

How 'bout them Sixers.

Play the Cavilers tonight, but i probaly wont watch much. i'll be watching Duke.

🙁 Phili beat Cavs.

Can you guys believe Reggie Miller? 39-years old, 39 points, 9 in the final minute (6 off free throws though). I stopped being a Pacer fan once it became Jermaine's team but I am joyful every time a game becomes Miller Time.

gotta love reggie
