Yeah it's true. The Laker's are now taking the back seat, but I don't think Kobe is gonna let that happen again.

Go Sixers!!

pistons broke their losing streak 💃

The Kings have been playing okay since the Webber trade. I'm starting to like the trade overall as Corliss, Thomas and especially Skinner have all played well. I have been surprised how good Skinner is, as he was pretty much a throw in in the deal. The Kings are in a much better situation with three semi-bad contracts to one terrible one. I think Philly is going to regret this deal in the long run as Webber with his age and injuries is only going to get worse while his contract is only going to go up.

If they get Brad and Bobby back healthy, I don't see why they can't beat the Sonics or Mav's, although that's as far as they'll go as they're not going to beat the Suns or Spurs.

I think the the 76ixers are gettin on the way

Ha Ha Shag and Kobe split and ppl are better for it
I thought it sucked Lakers ruled then

That was random.

Who are you guys picking for Rookie of the year? Im going with Okafor, i've liked his game since UCON. I think he could be another player along the lines of Duncan who is fundamentally sound (except for FT's) and helps his team in numerous ways. I like Gordon as well and think he has done an awesome job in limited minutes. But Emeka has my vote.

I'm voting for Gordon.

Gordon. He does so much in such little time and most of it is in essential 4th quarters.

ehh....thats a tough one.....gorndon has alot more talent around him than okafor...okafor is doing more with less

brown might not be back and theres already a rumor that phil jackson is a canidate to replace him next year....if that happens i just might slit my wrists

Gordon leads the entire league in double-digit fourth quarter points.

but look who he has around him....okafor maybe the best player on that team....gordon has a ton of talent around him to feed the him the ball like duhon and hinrick, plus he has chandlor although inconsistent he is still a big body that is decent at rebouding and can put the ball through the hoop.....i'm not saying gordon doesnt deserve rookie of the year...all i'm saying that if okafor was on the bulls and gordon was on charlotte than okafor could be leading the league in double digit 4th quater points

I dont understand how that makes Okafor more deserving, he is there only option on the Bobcats, while Gordon is scoring all the points he does, while Kirk, Duhon and Chandler get a lot of points too, if he was on the Bobcats, he would score more, since he's their only choice. Okafor derserves it too, but i think Gordon is more deserving.

It certainly seems like a 2 horse race, same as last year with Bron and Melo. I watched the Cavs get crushed by the Kings yesterday, they looked really disinterested for most of the game. The Kings looked good, their offence was working brilliantly and Bibby was outstanding. I also managed to see the Spurs getting dumped on by the Nuggets, the Nuggets were impressive even without K-Mart and Camby was amazing (8 rejections). The Spurs looked out of sorts without Timmy, its amazing what a difference one player makes especially when the Spurs are supposed to be more than just a one man team.

i never said okafor is more deserving..i just said he does more with less...you can assume gordon will score more points if he was a bobcat but i find that hard to believe since other teams would double team him and since the bobcats have no talent gordon wouldnt have anyone to help him out...which means he would not be scoring more points....all i'm saying is that people need to stop looking at numbers and start looking at the big picture

Ok, big picture = Gordon leading Bulls to first appearance in playoffs since Bulls days (I know he isn't doing it alone but winning IS the big picture).

I'm so scared that the Cavs won't make the playoffs. If they keep this up, they may lose their spot. I can't believe how shitty they have done since the all-star game. I have trust in Lebron though, even if this season does end up being a failure.

Gordon gets my vote as well. He's won a lot of games in the fourth quarter for that Bulls team and even tho they do have other talent that makes him a big reason for them being in the playoffs. But then again if you go by last year's race Melo's team was the one that made it to the playoffs and Lebron still got the award. But on the other hand, Lebron's team wasn't as horrible as the Bobcats - I still hate that name, it sounds like a junior hockey team...ugghh...they should've been called the Knights instead.

Btw, can anyone tell me what the hell is going on with the Sixers and Cavs? It's not good to be struggling when heading into the playoffs.

You mean, if they make the playoffs.

ok..i know you think lebron deserves the MVP but since he isnt winning i guess that means that you must think nash should take MVP since winning is the big picture
