Yeah, he's short! 🙂
But I do have to give it to him, he's got ups for his size, and wasn't he like a freshmen when he first dunked it?

😆 I was wondering what that was.

The thing is, Spud is 5' 7" and when I saw Nate next to him, he was a little taller.

Whatever, I get your point.

I think most athletes lie about there height. Barkley has always been listed at around 6'6 when he played, last night he was listed at 6'5, he has admitted in his autobiograph, and on the air he is just over 6'4.

But he's getting old he's shrinking........Just kidding, and yeah they all raise their height, and maybe even lower their weight 😐

Nate's dunks were pretty unimpressive, no doubt, but you know when I heard about Dwight Howard doing a dunk that involved the backboard, I expected more. I would say the "without looking" part is the only difficult part. The fact that he can jump that high is cool, but I don't think it should be the essence of the dunk. Rather, it should be an addition to a double-pump or a windmill or whatever he can do. Like when Gerald Green jumped over the table, the jumping part wasn't the main attraction, the windmill was. The table just added a little flavor to it. Dwight's dunk had the flavor, but it didn't have the "meat." (Sorry for the lack of a better word. I had to use metaphors on that one 😄)

I'm not saying its better than Gerald Green's first two dunks, I'm just saying it was much more deserving than the 42 or 43 he got.

I've never heard them list him as 6'6". For years people argued that he was the best player ever under 6'6" (although, people don't seem to argue that anymore, many say AI now).

I've heard the argument he's the best little big man, which I agree with, but not the best player under 6'6. That's too vague, Stocton, Isiah, Spudd, Wade, Nash all played or are playing at high levels under 6'6.

http://www.nba.com/history/players/barkley_bio.html (look at what he's listed at in yellow)

Also, all of Barkley's bball cards (or aleast the ones I have) have him at 6'6.

Ok, thanks for showing me examples. Also, I didn't think he was the best ever under 6'6", but people did used to make that argument (before the days of Wade and Nash playing so well). Additional note, Stockton and Thomas are valid arguments against Barkley being the best under 6'6", but Spudd was no where near those guys as a player.

No prob, I was initially going to say Dominque, but couldn't remember what he was listed at, so I threw in Spudd to represent the people listed as 5 footers even though he's not on the other players levels.

The game is about to start. Any last thoughts?

Well, if that wasn't the worst pre-game show I've ever seen... 😐

"Viva Las Vegas!" 😱 😱

Yeah, I hated it, too.

Yeah it was for old people.🙂 The songs.

Yeah, it wasn't to bad, besides the fact that he was lip syncing and was just plain creepy.

Lip Syncing? Where do you get that? The sound may have been off from the video, but everybody there that sang were professional live performers. There would be no reason for them to lip sync. People that lip sync are the people that make their lives creating albums in studios to mess with the sound to fix blemishes. Vegas is all about being live.

Just something I stumbled across
