I'd still rather take Carter for the last shot, he's much better at creating a his shot than Kidd and has much more range. He is a pretty good passer if he is double teamed. Kidd will always find the open man but if he is single covered he isnt that great a creating his own shot (with is inconsistent anyway). Carter just f*cked up tonight, plain and simple.
How about the Cavs defense though? Those guys are playing the type of D needed to go deep into the playoffs. Detroit will be the ultimate test (im picking them to close it out at home), they have been playing championship ball on both ends of the floor.
Im hoping the Spurs can take care of the Suns tonight, they have exposed all of the Suns weaknesses so far in the series. It takes a great team to do that to the Suns but the Spurs are so disciplined and their defense has been a joy to watch especially the last game. I wish the Lakers could adopt that commitment to defense, they have some players that could be great in that department but they are just not committed to play that great help defense and rotate the way the Spurs do.
