I'm not a Suns fan, but this is bull****. So, the Suns chances of winning the series are suddenly diminished all because Horry body checked Nash? Is there any logic in this whatsoever? Amare was not trying start anything. It's only natural to come by your teammate's aid when a crazed lunatic all of a sudden thinks it's ok to just throw his body at another person, knock him into the scorer's table, and walk away like he didn't do anything wrong. This is a disgrace.
Crazed lunatic? Come on now, we aren't talking about a mad Stephen Jackson here. The play was so damn dirty but Horry is hardly a crazed lunatic. What I think happened here is, you can't not suspend Amare then down the line suspend someone else. He ran onto the court with the intention to get involved, doesn't matter who started it, he ran onto the court!

I like how Duncan and Bell both participated in an the physical altercation, and neither are suspended, meanwhile Amare, and Diaw are both out. ****in ridiculous. I still have faith in the Suns, and think they can pull off a game 5 victory, as long as Marion can contain Parker, and Nash is running the show they still have a shot to win, obviously not as good as it would be with Amare, but everyone said they would tank last year when Amare was out for the year and look how that turned out.

Its a stupid rule no doubt, but its there nonetheless. If they ignore it for this instance they may as well get rid of it (which i would be more than happy with). It should also apply to Duncan and Bowen to who were off the bench in the 2nd quarter. This is why its such a stupid rule, it robs the fans of the best game possible.

He's not a crazed lunatic, but it's like he just blanked out. What was he thinking? Of course you can suspend Horry without suspending Amare. What did Amare legitimately do? He moved to where the incident took place. He probably did want to give Horry a piece of his mind, but you don't truly know, because it didn't happen. You don't know that Amare was looking for a fight, because he never actually did.
Now what did Horry legitimately do? He basically body checked Nash into the scorer's table. So while Horry gets suspended for intentionally knocking out another player and altercating with another (Bell), the other player gets suspended for walking 3 feet onto the court. Yep, that's fair. 🙄
Aside from the fact that Amare is much more important to Suns than Horry is to the Spurs, the league is manipulating the outcome of this series and hurting the Suns dearly ALL because of something HORRY initiated. The off the court suspension rule is BS, and the Spurs are actually benefiting from their own wrongdoing. Which is why it's BS.
What wuTA meant was that if Kobe was in Amare's situation, you'd be flipping out. You'd think it's BS, and the ruling is totally off and inconsistent. But because this is hurting the team that you dislike (Suns), you can live with it.

Thats right, it is a stupid rule, and it does rob the fans, but it's also putting another team at a disadvantage at a very critical time, the bottom line is that we all know the rule is shit and should be changed, but my point is that Stoudamire, and Diaw shouldn't be suspended because it's the playoffs, and alot of times in the playoffs, they stretch the rules. Like for Bell, technically, he should be suspended for scuffling with Horry, and as you pointed out, Bowen, and Duncan left the bench in the 2nd. Also, the players get away with alot more shit in the playoffs than they usually do (staring down refs, bitching and complaining, throwing headbands,ect.) so why should this be any different?

How do you know Diaw or Amare didn't get up to check on Nash? Beleive it or not, but Duncan has been in more altercations than Amare.

what about duncan coming well onto the court (past the 3 point line) earlier in the game when a hard foul occurred. That sure beats Amare putting half a foot on the floor.
