He must have said it wrong then, because that is just freakishly weird. Like circus freak, freaky. He would literally be able to scratch his knees while standing straight up.

6'6" with an 8'2" wingspan would mean reaching even further down to his shins.

Basketball, that's why I posted in the NBA thread.

Supposedy he can do everything, shoot, dribble, and all the obvious big man stuff that is probably easy for him since he's playing against 13 year olds.

He would probably be playing on the varsity team if he was that good.

Not if he is not in High School yet.

Have their scouts to watch this kid play?

No, there are exceptions. If you're that tall and that good, you should not be playing on a Modified level.

Well you can't play high school ball if you are not in High School. High School starts at 9th grade. He is in 8th. So he is playing against all 8th graders until next year. Then I'm sure he will be on varsity.

Never mind, you're right. I got confused.

Well, at least Durant hasn't done anything well besides make a high free throw % so Blazer fans shouldn't be too alarmed. Today he had another 18 point night off terrible shooting (4-19) and again only had 1 rebound, 4 fouls and 2 turnovers.

Of course noone should be alarmed, its frickin summer league. I don't know if anyone know this, but Tim Duncan was god awful horrible in his 1st summer league, and was completed dominated against Greg Ostertag in his 1st game......Greg Ostertag!!!!!!!

Yeah, just about every article talking bout how bad Oden/Durant are playing mention that.

Aaaannnd it looks like Oden is done for the summer for summer ball, he will be at the Espys tho, not that anyone besides Myth probaly cares. I watched the Espys the 1st couple of years it was on, but stopped, might check it out this year though, Kimmel is hillarous so atleast I should get a laugh.

On a sidenote, G.S 1st Round pick, Belinelli(sp?) is tearing up the summer league, 37 pts in his 1st or 2nd game, and has a nice outside shot( I think he went 5-7 one game, and 5-8 another) and they say he is a perfect fit for Nellie Ball. It will be interesting to see if he can produce these numbers come showtime.

Yeah, sounds like Oden needed the time off. I don't know if they were just making excuses for Oden, but apparently he was only able to go at 60% in the 2 summer league games. He has tonsilitus(sp?) and some other problem with his nose making it so he could only breath through his mouth and that hurt because of the tonsil problem.

YAY! We bought out Francis! Nearly for full price but its still better than having Randolph. Now Miles just needs to be healthy so we can buy him out (he obviously would rather collect his entire check since he is injured and can't sign with another team). The Mavs and Clips are supposedly interested in Francis.

i dunno about francis... hes a decent player and all, but hes too elfish to be a proper point gaurd and a bit too small to play shooting guard.

^^^Sounds like a perfect fit for Dallas.......I could see why the Clippers want Francis, after Livingston's injury I think Francis would be a nice gamble for them.

Francis is a malcontent whose skills have greatly diminished.

The Heat and Lakers apparently show interest in Francis. Though Fisher has agreed to go back to the Lakers so I don't know how helpful Francis will be.

fisher has agreed? good news for lakers fans.

i dont know where francis would be a good fit... on a veteran team perhaps where he will have to play team ball, not how he used too. maybe miami would work?

This is not good news at all.

why not? fisher has made a good impact on the teams hes joined, warriors, and last season the jazz. performed well when needed, and given a veteran voice and some sort of leadership. he would have been more than welcome in toronto.

Lewis signs a 110 mill deal with the Magic which just furthers my opinion that NBA GMs are idiots. Lewis doesn't do anything else but score but even that he's only very good at. It's not like he's ever put up Kobe ppg numbers and now he gets cash up there with the likes of KG and Shaq.
