Jermaine is a loser. Jermaine had Reggie Miller, Brad Miller, Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson, and Jamal Tinsley and he lost in the east. Kobe is the only player worth a damn on that lakers squad is kobe and maybe Farmar (They need to cut smush's worthless ass bad). If they can convince some body to take Odom (damn wouldn't it have been cool if they had gotten Gerald Wallace). Basically he is going to have a weaker squad than he did in the east but he is going to be older and more injury prone with a weaker bench.
Jermain won't help them win now or later.
The only problem of course is that after Kobe's comments they have to do something and Jermaine is probably the best they can do. But dman there has to be something else their GM can do to make them competitive I jsut can't think of anything.

The Mavs are going after Webber, and there are actually quite a few teams interested in Francis, Houston and Miami appear to be interested in him along with the other teams mentioned, and I just read that the Cavs are going to pursue Bibby again, it would be Bibby for Gooden, and maybe a 2nd round pick as well.

That's a great hoops site. It's like NBA.com but without all the flair. Just straight up hoops with a lot of blunt str8 to the point and humorous articles.
