Yeah, that contract is way to big. I guess orlando thinks this team can win it all eventually because that leaves very little room for tweaking in the future.

110 million?!?! 😆 😆 😆

How dumb!

And Fisher coming to the Lakers would be a good thing.

I am also hearing that Bynum, Kwame and Crittenton for Jermaine O'Neal is on the table.

Think about that.

Fisher
Farmar
Kobe
Walton
Jermaine O'Neal
Mihm
Odom

Oh boy...

why not? fisher has made a good impact on the teams hes joined, warriors, and last season the jazz. performed well when needed, and given a veteran voice and some sort of leadership. he would have been more than welcome in toronto.

All that means is hogwash. Fisher is a has been. Secondly, where was he when the Jazz needed him most? Thirdly, I guess now, Kobe will stay and the Lakers will win the title NOT.

Maybe. I am very skeptical that management will something done to appease Kobe.

I wouldn't trade those guys for O'Neal, that is unless it is the thing that keeps Kobe in L.A.

You wouldn't trade Bynum, Kwame the "useless, overpaid, cake throwing" Brown and Crittenton for Jermaine O'Neal? WHY?!

Are you saying Indiana shouldn't do that or the Lakers?

Because that looks like a killer team for the Lakers, I don't know why they wouldn't pull the trigger on that deal.

If I were Kobe I would definitely want to stay if management pulled that off. He would most likely get what he asked for.

Trading those guys for KG ok that makes sense. Jermain O'Neal? What the hell for? Jermaine is good better than those guys but worth all of them together no way. I guess if he could take the scoring pressure off of Kobe maybe but with such a depleted front court he is going to get injured and be down for the season.

Who is those guys? Kwame Brown is a dud, should I quote MJ?

Crittenton, who the hell is he?

Bynum, well we are getting a win now guy in return, and Kobe wants to win while he is still in his prime, basically....go away Bynum.

Keep in mind that I said unless it is the factor that keeps Kobe in town. In other words:
Those 3 guys value > the value of Jermaine
However, that is not in a "win now" mindset, so Kobe would more likely want Jermaine.

And Crittenton is the Lakers draft pick, and has the potential to be a really good PG/SG.

I know who Crittenton is, I was just being sarcastic.

I'm going to have to disagree with you and call you INSANE. I don't know about Crittenton, Bynum and Kwame's value being greater than Jermaine O'Neal's.

Bynum can turn out to be a bust, Crittenton hasn't played a single NBA game and we don't really need a PG since we have Farmar and Fish possibly coming in. Kwame is just Kwame, he actually subtracts from their total.

I would rather have Crittenton and Bynum's potential over the overrated Jermaine that will start declining in 3-4 years (plus he's got a bit of an selfish attitude problem that may not mesh well with Kobe). Btw, not meaning in any way that Kwame is a good player, but being a disappointing #1 pick has now made him underrated.

I don't get that last statement about Kwame. But if you want him, we'll actually pay YOU to take him....🙂

I was simply saying he is underrated. He isn't very good, but he isn't of negative value as you believe. If he was the #24 pick in a draft, he wouldn't get as much flack as he does and would see him for what he really is (a mediocre, but not terrible PF). Instead, people's hopes were higher for him and all the talk about him is negative for underachieving.

And for the record, Jermaine's efficiency rating was slightly lower than Lamar Odom's last season.

Not terrible? 😆

The man misses some of the most easiest layups/dunks, mostly layups because he can't jump high nor can he palm the ball. He drops easy passes, he has no touch, his ass can't rebound, he isn't fundamentally sound and basically the only reason why he is still in the NBA is because of his size. If it wasn't for that, what use would he be for any team?

His skill level and value is -10 and dropping. I don't care if he was an undrafted player, horrible is horrible and Kwame defines horribe.

Yea, but he could still be a good fit for the Clippers, the Clippers get a cheap PG (which they need) that may have something left in the tank. Yea, he has had attitude problems in the past, but he has also been an allstar in the past, and after last seasons let down they could use another scorer to relieve some pressure from Brandon, or atleast get some more points off the bench with him. As for Dallas picking him up, I think the saracasm was obvious.

Its nice to see Redick try and put last season behind him. I still think he can be a solid contributor, or more, and he has really started to show his potential in the summer league. Scorched the Nets for 30 (with B.Hill on the bench for the Nets) and is averaging around 22 or 24 ppg.

You can believe what you want, but there is a lot worse out there.

He can take his career 1.0 ppg ave to a team that will be in the lottery next year.
