The biggest problem I have with Nash getting MVP is simply that he is a defensive handicap. MVPs are superstars that can dominate games in 3 or more ways. Not just in one way. I like Nash. He is definitely a star player. But he is no superstar.

Im really not trying to argue about this i think we just have different opinions on this one. A player can dominate in 3 or more ways and still not lift his team to the next level (LeBron is the prime example - not his fault i might add). I think the MVP should be exactly that, not the player with the best stats but the one who is the most valuable to his team. Nash and Shaq have been head and shoulders above the competition this year and it came down to those two.

Also...... come on Blazers! Hopefully they get a lucky draw and get better than #5 pick.

I know what you mean, i'm hoping the Lakers can get lucky in the draft but i think our problems go alot deeper than that.

I know you aren't trying to argue. I'm not trying to argue necessarily myself. I'm just stating why I believe what I believe and I understand that it is just my opinion and others have theirs.

So we agree? 😉

Agree? I agree that my opinion is different then yours and that I wasn't trying to argue.

Anyway.......... YES! #3 PICK! WOO! This is the highest I've ever seen the Blazers get in the lottery!

Agreed.
Lakers # 10, could have been worse. Now all we need is Kobe to have a personality transplant and we're good.

Who's the #1 pick this year?

#1 Bucks
#2 Hawks
#3 Blazers

Kool - You know how the draft lottery works, right? The only way that they would have gotten a worse pick is if one of the 4 teams worse than them drew a top 3 pick which was a very very slim chance. The Lakers had the 10th worse season so they were most likely going to get 10. Heck, they had about the same chance of getting a worse pick as they had the chance of getting a top 3 pick themself.

Oh shit, and the lottery clouded my mind and I almost forgot to say........... WOOOOOOO!!!!!!! YEAH! Spurs 2-0 against Suns! WOO!

The Suns are finding out that you can't just try to outscore everybody in the playoffs, especially when it's against a great defensive team is San Antonio.

Spurs are playing Suns style but with a little bit more D as well. Usually the team who wins forces the other to play their style. Not in this case.

Like i said it could have been worse.

Anyway the Spurs are looking good, did you guys see that behind the back play from Ginobli in the 4th? The Suns still have a slim chance but the Spurs are not the sort of team to get complacent. The Suns lack of depth has come back to haunt them and Marion is being shut down by Bowen. If the Suns dont win the next game then this could be a sweep, did anyone see that coming?

Scratch my last comment. I wasn't thinking clearly when I typed it.

That behind the back was nice. Don't forget, Spurs were up 2-0 on Lakers last year before losing 4 straight. Although I don't see that happening again. If (and thats a big 'if'😉 the Suns are to come back, I see it going 2-1-2. Highly doubt that though. So right now i'm more worried about the Heat.

I think the Spurs will learn from their mistakes last season, nothing teaches like experience. I think Fishers buzzer beater really killed the series for the Spurs last season.
The Heat have got to stand up and be counted, but the Pistons have been patchy this year so the Heat have a definite chance. Wade really struggled against Prince who might be one of the hardest players to get by. Shaq is not himself and if Ben Wallace can play him straight up it will make the rest of the Pistons jobs easier.

YEAH!!!!!! GO HEAT!! sorry Wuta, but, Dwyane Wade, baby, Dwayne Wade!!!! He was amazing!!!

Where was there D on him today? 20 points in the 4th.

The great players always bounce back from bad games and Wade is definitely in that category.

"what are you are you gay?".....if your gonna use it, use it right...there are no commas...i patented that by the way so you owe me 2 cents (i know, i broke the bank when i had it patented).....Wade played great there's no doubt about that, but detroit played like shit that game, they turned it on a little about in the 2nd half but miami thanks to Wade was able to pull it out....that was detriot's worst and miami played really good and still almost lost..i'm lookin foward to this series goin to detriot, but they don't play until Sunday, and that blows

I know, no games tomorrow. What the hell am I suppose to do? I guess I'll just play myself.

God, I want the draft to start. I would love to see Bucks take Bogut since they need a Center. Then hopefully the Hawks take Chris Paul over Marvin Williams because they really need a PG (I believe Tony Delk is their starter now). Then the Blazers could pick up Marvin for themselves. That would be awesome. Here's to hoping.
